“12 out of 21 deer have been killed by this hunter.” Holding my spear, I am trying to catch my breath while paying my whole attention to the keeper. Keepers are the one who has the information of how many kills a hunter has in an hour. “None other than, Raffi of the Ambrose’s!” I saw my father fixing his hunter’s robe while wearing his huge smile. The whole tribe is excited especially the women of which gender I belong to. I started to walk to the wooden stage created by the tribe for this kind of ceremony. Everybody is happy and I hope this will last forever.

She hurried out of their room. There she suddenly bit her lip by accident. Hunter was cooking. He was topless and only wearing boxer briefs and he was wearing Katalina's pink apron. Katalina could only see Hunter's back because he was busy cooking food. Katalina suddenly sneezed. Hunter turned to her. The billionaire smiled at Katalina as he greeted her. "Good morning," said Hunter. Katalina couldn't move in shock. She was stunned by Hunter's handsomeness. She looked at him from head to foot.

Hunter's voice was heard from the store's counter. They all looked in his direction. The man started walking their way. "Hunter!" Akira excitedly yelled. "We have the water now," she went forward in his direction. She handed the bottle to Hunter. Hunter tearfully accepted it. His twinkling eyes looked straight into her eyes and said, "I know you won't fail me," he grabbed the young woman and hugged her tightly. "You're such a brave girl, Akira." "I, I k-know," Akira almost gasp her breath because of Hunter's tight hug. "A-Are you going to kill me?" She complained and started to push the man away.

All of this was stupid because if there was one man in this room he shouldn’t mess with, it was Hunter. It took him mere seconds to reach Kage from where he was standing. It was so fast that it felt like we had only blinked once and the next thing we knew, he had already shoved Kage against the wall, his hand tightly gripping around his neck that Kage’s face quickly began to turn red from lack of oxygen. Oh shit, was he going to kill him right here?! “Your five seconds are up!” Hunter growled and lifted his hand up that had his claws coming out already. They were nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Nothing like ours. His were so much longer and sharper. It terrified me to think of what one c

He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively and laughed at Nate's smile. The Hunt was on, and the Kreil thought about how thrilled they were with how it had turned out so far. It couldn't have gone better if they planned it themselves. The Hunt had just begun, but the promise of a future with a feisty mate was the best motivation they could have used at that moment. It drove them on as they searched for a footprint on the beach, convinced they would find their mates before the day ended.

AVA Without another word, Hunter moves swiftly away from the lockers, passing by his two friends whose names I'm guessing are Preston and Gomorey. They had been gawking at Hunter with a mischievous grin playing on their lips, and Hunter didn't waste a chance to shoot them both with his penetrating glare. I noticed their pupils retrench as they stared at him, meaning they were conversing with each other through mindlink. It was brief, lasting a couple of seconds before Hunter turns left and straight down the now-empty halls.

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest. They did some sort of bro-handshake as they greeted themselves like brothers. However, I didn't see any similarity between them. Hunter had pale blonde hair and blue eyes that gleamed with mischief. He had a leaner frame than Shawn, and he was slightly shorter than Shawn. Shawn turned to me with a broad smile. “Luna, this is the Beta of this pack, Beta Hunter.” He introduced him. Hunter's eyes narrowed slightly at Shawn's words as he studied me. “Is this her—the Luna Queen?” He asked Shawn, still watching me with a sharp gaze. He said ‘Luna Queen’ with a sour look on his face.

“It’s best to come with us before the others find you.” Others? “Listen, I think you have the wrong girl. I’m just a bounty hunter.” I pushed Lukas a little, and I took in the men in front of us. They were all wearing the same clothing style as the men who had met us in the bar close to the industrial sector, but what stood out was a small pin they all had on their left breast—an owl in flight. They were Noctua. Another man came forward and flashed me a picture. My picture.

Hunter’s silver fur glistens under the lights from the chandelier while Kai’s dark maroon seemingly absorbs the light. They both leap in the air, with Kai aiming for Hunter’s neck but Hunter counters, blocking Kai’s attack. Hunter rams his own body against Kai, sending the latter crashing back onto the ground. The fight has just begun and the hair at the back of my neck is already standing straight up. I swear if Hunter makes it out alive I will pray to the moon goddess every night and burn her offerings every week. Kai thrusts and claws some more narrowly missing Hunter’s neck. Damnit, why is Hunter not attacking?
