Lady Of The Lake Review นิยาย & เรื่องราว

She flipped and leapt forward taking a dip into the lake again, all the while her eyes stayed shut. Jake had watched the emotions play across her beautiful face, he wondered what she was thinking. A glance at her quickly rising and falling breasts was a mesmerizing reminder of what he witnessed during the trial. He stood that night, in the shadow, mesmerized by the most tantalizing, compelling sight he'd ever seen in his 25 years of life. She had been a beautiful sight during the trial. But naked, and swimming in the water which was obviously freezing, she was sheer perfection. Her skin was smooth and taut over her shapely muscles. Her back was well sculpted, and her waist narrowed gracefull

With a yelp, she fell into the water of the lake, freaking out in fear as she didn't know how to swim. Before she went deeper into the water, she heard some faint laughter. She was pretty sure that those voices came from Luna and Rebecca. The narrow lake was far more deeper than she imagined. As she struggled to go upwards, she noticed something more fearsome. From different sides, she could see crocodiles, making their way towards her. Lisa's lips opened wide in disbelief as it was literally an attempt to murder.

The morning sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, creating patterns of light that danced on the ground. The air was still cool and fresh, with a breeze carrying the scent of wild grass and traces of last night's rain. I stood on the northern shore of the lake, accompanied by Tavien on my right and a young alchemist named Serel on my left. The lake resembles a vast mirror reflecting the sky and the surrounding forest. Calm, yet hiding an unseen depth. “This place...” Tavien gazes into the distance. “It’s like a place painted directly by the Moon Goddess.”

Author’s POV: A mysterious lake: A small town away from California. People of the town have been seeing this pond over 100 years. But yet they know nothing about that lake like who created it and who is using this.!! Most surprising matter is the water label of that lake never changed and the water is fresh as always. The lake area is restricted and there is a boundary covering the lake. People say that few deaths incident occurred who entered into that area. Some used to say that this is somehow connected to the electric power plant which is around two kilometers away from the lake. But none knew how and why this is connected to that electric power plant.

I look around, Lily sticking close to my side, as the boat begins to move away from the dock and towards the villa in the middle of the lake. The scenery is gorgeous. The lake is calm and the sun’s rays reflect off of the water, the light sparkling whenever a ripple rolls by. The lake is surrounded by endless evergreen trees. They tower over the lake and cast shadows along the shores. Even at a glance, there are a few fish that swim by here and there, completely unbothered by the boat’s presence. When the former Luna wakes up, she will be sure to awaken to a sight that is close to Heaven. She is one lucky woman, to have a son who loves her so much, even in sickness.

"You're a pretty good cultivator. You've just faced the wrong opponent." The lady sighed deeply, then closed her eyes. "Just kill me." However, after some time passed, the lady did not feel anything. She slowly opened her eyes. She could see Wilbur facing the lake once more, with his hands behind his back. The lady frowned, struggling to stand up and look at Wilbur. "What are you trying to do? If you're going to take advantage of me, I'll just kill myself. You're not going to get the chance to have your way."

She didn't do that. Lisa gazed out on the lake, looking as the floor of the water sparkled underneath the weak morning light. "I didn't have a truckload of a decision, did I?" The lady grinned faintly, at last turning her head to check Lisa out. "No, you didn't." Briefly, there was just quiet between them. The breeze stirred the leaves, and the water undulated scarcely accordingly. The tranquility of the scene remained in unmistakable assessment to the uneasiness that hung between the two ladies.

My mother chatted about the renovations she wanted to make to the foundation, while William gave one word answers and kept his eyes on the road. I sat in the back, my laptop open, ostensibly studying but actually watching the way William’s hands gripped the steering wheel, the knuckles white, the veins standing out in sharp relief. He was wound tight. Tighter than he had been at the office. The lake house was a sprawling, glass-and-timber fortress perched on a cliff overlooking a dark, mirror-like expanse of water. It was secluded, beautiful, and utterly suffocating. "I’m going to go lie down," my mother said as soon as we crossed the threshold. "The drive was longer than I remembered. Willi

As we trudge into the woods in silence, the cool evening wind brushes past us as the scent of wet wood grows stronger. And looking ahead, I realize that the path curves toward the lake, the one I’ve heard the maidens gossip about, the one the pack used to gather around. The same one I haven’t seen since I arrived. As we approach it, my heart thuds. “Rhett…?” “We’re almost there,” he says. I don’t know why, but something in me trusts that. When we step out from between the trees, I stop walking entirely. And I gasp, I actually gasp—because the view in front of me doesn’t look real. The lake stretches out like a sheet of darkening glass, catching the sun just as it begins to sink behind the tr

I shrugged it on, the weight of it pressing against my shoulders like a shroud. The French window creaked as I pushed it open, the cold night air rushing in to bite at my skin. Outside, the lake stretched out like a sheet of black glass, its surface undisturbed by the chaos inside the house. This place - this lake house - was a gift Lucas had given to Leah. A sanctuary, she'd called it. The first place she'd brought me after pulling me from the wreckage of Sak's Sheridan Club. I'd been half-dead then, my body broken, my mind a shattered mirror. She'd pieced me back together, or at least tried to.
