I tell her crossing my hands in front of my face. ''Come on, I will make it really light. I promise.'' She says, giving me the puppy eyes. ''I know you Lucy.'' I state. ''Just some mascara and eyeliner and some eye shadows and we definitely have to gloss that lips up.'' She says, ticking her fingers. ''There were a lot of 'ands' in that sentence of yours, it scares me.'' I tell her as she walks closer to me and place her hands on my shoulders.

" She nods shyly. I hate make-up. They give acne, so I hear, and I am scared of waking up to one of them. I only use a nude lipstick, which suits my skin color, my hair, and my eyes so well. I look at my green eyes as they glow. Just today, I won't have to hide them under thecontact lens. I apply my lipstick and lip balm to make it look a little smoother. Then a little mascara and a liner. I look totally different with dark makeup. I am stunning, actually.

The make-up artist put the finishing touches on my make-up and gave me a mirror to look at. Wow. This woman in the mirror looked nothing like me. She kind of looked like my mom. But the dark purple make-up made my eyes pop and the lips finished the look. I looked good. My nails were dark purple, or plum as they called it and my hair was wavy and up to my chin. My hair was parted to one side and she put some long earrings in. Luna Barbara walked up to me, "you look stunning! I have picked out a different dress for you. that goes better with your make-up.”

Zapora squeals. They blow dried my hair and curled the ends. With my make up, they slightly contoured my cheekbones, temples and nose. They gave me a brown smokey eye with a slight wing of the eyeliner. Then they brushed on some professional make up mascara that made my lashes look fake...apparently. I'm not allowed to see myself until it's all done. They gave me nude, matte lipstick with a tiny tiny bit of lip balm for a natural shine to it. "YOU'RE DONE!"

They complimented. "Thank you," I replied, smiling, and faced the full body mirror, and my eyes widened to see the woman staring back at me. My hair was in a bun on top of my head, and some strands were curled and fell freely on my face. They give me smoky eyes, which make my eyes look bigger. My face had light makeup, and they painted my lips with maroon lipstick.

I say as I snatch the purse. I grab my phone from the purse. I feel sweet relief getting that back. I only need it for the camera, but I see a lot of notifications from my friends. They all return to talking, so I decide to just do my makeup right here. I look into the camera and try to utilize what I have. I give myself a lighter smokey eye with the eyeliner, and put on my dark, matte lipstick. I didn't do half bad with the makeup. I've never really been an expert either.

She smiled awkwardly as she caught a glimpse of her mirror, not knowing if Sebastian would notice the change in demeanor. She decided to add a trace of makeup to complement her natural features. Her cheeks were touched with soft rosy blush, and her lips were ornamented with a delicate shade of light blue that matched the color of her gown. Her eyes were made to glow like stars in the night sky with a touch of shimmering makeup. With just a slight touch, Rose was looking as beautiful as ever.

Chapter 29 The morning sun streamed through the sheer curtains of Laura's bedroom while she stood before her vanity. The hum of a hair dryer filled the space as she meticulously styled her hair.
