"You stole my heart and it's yours to keep. Forever." I try to lighten the mood, flashing her a small grin. "I had a dream last night," I say casually. Her eyes lift to mine, suddenly glowing like I just handed her the moon. "What did you dream about?" she asks, already smirking. She thinks it's a wet dream, I can see it in her eyes. "In as much as I wish it was," I shrug, "it was you cuffing me to the bed and threatening to stab me."

I wished she would understand this sudden strange feeling, especially after experiencing that disturbing dream last night. "I had a strange dream last night. In that dream, I met Serena and also Eric," I said candidly, starting to recount the dream I had experienced to Mariana. Mariana looked at me intently, waiting for me to continue. "In the dream, we were in a dark and gloomy place. Serena looked confused, while Eric seemed calm. They were talking to each other, but I couldn’t hear what they were saying. It felt very eerie, as if there was something very important they were discussing, but I couldn’t access it."

I had a weird night last night. Aaron and Jenna didn’t come home until early this morning but what was so weird about my night was, I kept dreaming about Caeleb. "Actually, I volunteered." That surprised me enough to make me look at him again. "Why?" He stared out at the packlands below, his profile sharp against the morning sky. "I had a dream last night. About you. About us." My pulse quickened, wariness flooding through me. "What kind of dream?" "Not what you're thinking," he said quickly, his blush deepening. "Well, not entirely. Her thoughts drifted back to the dream she had last night about him. The dream had felt so vivid, so real, that even after she woke up, her skin still prickled. She often saw Damon in her dreams, but those dreams were usually her fantasies and desires — moments where she saw herself being loved by him. But last night’s dream was different. Another car pulled up behind them and began to honk. “Come on, please just get in,” Hayden pleaded now. “First just tell me, what’s so complicated?” Hayden sighed, and seemed a little annoyed at her stubbornness but when he did speak, she gasped at the words. “Last night, I dreamt of you too,” he said.

Food doesn’t do bad things to people, especially to good people. I sighed remembering everything that happened last night but what irritated me more is the dream I was having this morning.
