I retorted. "Hmph! You're just a coward. I am confident, strong, and brave, yet I'm bound by someone as weak, powerless, and foolish as you. It's truly unfair," she continued to criticize me. "Get away!" I blocked Rose, but I couldn't block the desire permeating the air. I tossed and turned, restless and uneasy. I looked outside the window; the deep blue sky was adorned with drifting clouds, and a full moon hung among the treetops, casting a gentle glow over everything like a thin veil. The chorus of insects filled the night, playing the symphony of nature. A strong desire surged within me. I longed to tread on the muddy ground, to feel the softness of the grass under my feet. I yearned to r

“Tristan, my sweet boy, your mother and father loved you so much. Your parents, myself, Alpha Jack, and Gamma Blake all agreed to this from the day your sister was born.” “Little moon,” I heard Braxton say softly. We all turned to him, and I saw a sweet smile spread across Luna Maria’s face. “Yes, she is our little moon, gifted from the moon goddess herself.” She reached over and grabbed Braxton’s hand while she looked deeply into his eyes, “You have a very important role to play in her life.” She then took her hand back and looked over all three of us, “All three of you have important rolls to play.”

The moonlight shining down on the pages illuminated the words in a way that made them seem to come alive. Without thinking, Verena sat down in the nook by the window and used the full moon as her light. She began to read from the book. "Seriona," she read the name written as the title of the first chapter. The story was captivating, and she was drawn in by the tale of werewolves. It was about a pack, led by their king, Lucas, who were cursed by a powerful witch named Seriona to only be alive inside the book. They were inside their own world where they could no longer harm humans, and the world was called Lunaria. The tale sent shivers down her spine; it was so wonderfully written, and the em

I remember how I felt sometimes - lonely, trapped, missing my Star Twin and my life on earth, longing and waiting for the Crescent Child to come and retrieve me. But I don’t remember much more. There is proudness on her face. On the other side, Layla knelt and hugged them with happiness. How much she missed their warm hugs. Layla solely thanked Moon Goddess for bringing her back and letting her have her family. "Layla, you should now go and rest. I'll bring your meal to your room. It has been three days since you ate your last meal; you should be hungry." Hearing her Mom's words, Layla remembers it has been over a year since she ate her last meal, which her Mom had prepared.

The woods were utterly still until Layla finally broke the silence. Her voice was calm and calculated as she spoke, “Red Moon is stagnant. And not just Red Moon - the werewolf world is..." She let out a breath of disgust. "Weak." Some heat entered her voice. “Hell, the entire magical universe needs a shakeup.” "This is reckless, Layla," an unfamiliar voice hissed. "If the Alpha knew-" "He's Gone With the Wind," Layla drawled. "A dinosaur."

I stated, “You really need it, I guess you'll have to reheat the only thing you eat in this house… anyway since you're going into the streets, do you mind grabbing me the second volume of a novel?” “What novel?” “New moon, Stephanie Mayer. You can find it at the bookstore just down the street.
