Length Of A Book Novels & Stories

I looked at the stack. There were perhaps thirty books. Board books at the bottom, the thick-paged kind for very small hands, and picture books above them, and a few that were slightly longer, slightly older, the kind that would take more than one sitting but were not yet chapter books. He had covered a range. He had thought about the range. There was a note on top, written on a small card in his handwriting, which was exact and slightly compressed, the handwriting of someone who had trained their hand for precision.

) I will be sure they are closer to completion before I begin posting, that way I can have a better set schedule for you all. This book has been ongoing for about 9 months. There is still so much more story that needs to happen and I expect the chapter count to be at least double what it is now, if not more. While I do have an outline, and I know where each of the characters and story will go, I have zero idea how long it will take me to get there. However, I will GUARANTEE it will not be one of those soap opera type books that just keep going and going, like the Energizer bunny, with no end in sight. There will be a definitive end, hopefully within the next 6 months.

He says as he starts to check for a book "Well, I’m pretty sure that even if I find the so-called right book I won’t like it because I already hate reading." "Well I don’t know about that but I assure you if you read this book, you are gonna fall in love with novels." He hands me a book. "It’s one of my favorites." I collect the book from him and I flip to the last page. My eyes widen in shock to see it has 376 pages. "376 pages." I say questionably "I can’t read all that."

Arthur stretched. “Power of dividing and conquering,” Rah laughed, lying down on the floor to straighten his back. “Also, you picked the smallest books. I once read a book that was more that two thousand pages long. It took me a while to finish it,” he added, stretching on the floor. “Wow, you have a lot of time at your hand,” Arthur spoke with raised eyebrows. “No, just interested in reading. When you are a human in a city of wolves, you don’t have a lot of choices for fun,” Rah laughed.

When I was younger, I always hated books with lots of pages, I use to wonder how and why writers will make their books so long and have lots of pages, I also wondered why they didn’t just write the whole story in one page. The walls had handmade shelves built onto them, all holding dozens upon dozens of thick, tall books. It was at least a thousand books, spanning across a room the size of an average American classroom I would say. "Wow." I breathe, moving towards the books and running a finger across the spines. I pull out a random book. It's large, probably a foot either way. Made of thick leather binding and heavy, creamy colored pages.

Ed observed Ruby selecting a novel yesterday. "Yes, I like thick ones. They last longer, but that also depends on the storyline. The excitement of the story determines its duration. I once finished a book over a thousand pages long in three days because it was thrilling, but there's one very thin book I still haven't finished because it's boring. I always fall asleep while reading it." Ruby explained it at length, forgetting her intention to be cautious. It had been a long time since she talked about books with anyone, so she easily got carried away. Usually, she would discuss books—or anything—with her mother, which was no longer possible.
