Except us, that is.” Levi leans over me, his other hand coming to my bare thigh, fingertips applying the slightest pressure. I don’t even know why my eyes flicker to Chase, but they do- and his are so dark they’re almost black as he glares at Levi’s hand on my leg, the muscle in his jaw twitching. His body is rigid and tense like a coiled viper, ready to strike. “That’s Alec,” Levi says, pulling my attention back to him as he nods to the blonde guy on the couch to our right, sandwiched between two scantily clad women. “And the tall one’s Dare. They’re brothers. Twins, actually.”

When he saw Leviathan and the others, Zeke’s eyes once again held a hint of surprise. Although his intuition had told him that it was unlikely for Dark Shura to lie to him, his heart still twitched gently when he saw Leviathan was actually here. Leviathan seemed to have waited for Zeke for a long time. When he saw him appear at the scene, a long-lost smile finally appeared on his face.

"You should probably see a doctor for that scratchy throat." I glared back at him. "Levi this is Zack. We went to high school together." Zack slid into the booth next to me. "Hey," Zack smiled at him. "Hi," Levi said, and it sounded a lot like bye.

" I then realize Isaac is standing in back of Cole. Zeke asked him to? Maggie calls out "Isaac," dashes over to Isaac, hops up, and encircles his body with her legs. Zeke says, "I'm going to murder them." Zoey enters and remarks, "That's depressing," upon seeing Isaac and Maggie. Cole and Zoey follow Zeke as he grabs hold of my arm and leads me into the living room. "I'm glad you didn't kill Isaac there," the speaker said. Having taken Zeke's place, I speak.

Amelia’s POV “So, you are not scared that I might take advantage of you? Now that we are all alone on this terrace?” Zane asked me with a lopsided smile on his face. He and I came on a random building’s terrace so that we could rehearse for the competition peacefully. It is not safe to appear together, elsewhere in the town. It will stir up speculation which is not good for either of us. He cannot be seen hanging out with someone as lowly as me, and my brothers would probably rip him apart in shreds if they saw us together. So it was wise to be alone amidst nowhere.

Amber seems lost for words, and I breathe a laugh before bending down. I’m so much taller than her that I have to lift her up on her tippy toes so I can kiss the top of her head. She grunts in response but doesn’t pull away. It amuses me. Does she like the attention? Because I do. Holding her in my arms is a big part of what makes me so horny. “Ah, glad to see the lovebirds have found each other,” Zeke comments from the wall. He is leaning against it with a coffee cup in his hand. “Have you done it yet? Or wait...is tonight the big day? Since you just became legal?”

A hand slipped over my shoulder, and I found myself wedged between Adrian's body and arm. “What's up, partner? Are you ready to bond?” I puffed and strained against his hold. There was no need to choke me. “What's up, Zeke?” He greeted Zeke wasn't smiling. He only angled his head in a dangerous manner. “Hi, Adrian.” Wow, that was quick. They were already talking to each other so soon. Not friendly talks, but it's better than snubbing each other Adrian tightened his hold around my neck. “My partner and I have to go. See you later.”
