Leviathan Book Author Novels & Stories

Her voice dropped dangerously low. "It's complicated—" "Then uncomplicate it!" She slammed the letter on his desk. "I'm your wife, Dante. I deserve to know who you really are. All of it. Not just the parts you think I can handle." "You want the truth? Fine." His voice turned hard. "Lorenzo betrayed us because my father chose me as heir over him. He was older, more experienced, and he thought he deserved it more. When Giovanni picked me instead, Lorenzo lost his mind. Started making moves against us. Against me specifically."

Leviathan's eyes flash with irritation as he continued to answer Asmo's barrage of questions. Asmo's eyes narrowed, his voice taking on a piercing tone. "Leviathan, did you ever have any real intentions of harming the other angels before the war began?" Leviathan's response was immediate, his voice firm. "No, I did not. Our goal was a peaceful revolution, a desire for freedom and autonomy. But once Michael and his followers sought to crush our movement, we were forced to defend ourselves. We did what had to be done to protect our own."

CHAPTER XLIV: Waves of Emotions Leviathan countered Suzaine and Almirah’s spell just by using his tentacles. He even didn't move on his location. He just contently blocking and slashing our comrades’ attacks. His physical prowess and magic power are off the charts, too. Well, I got to admit this but the demon kings are worthy opponents. We should not underestimate them. “Magnificent! King Leviathan just easily obliterated his opponents’ attack without a sweat,” the announcer commented out of amazement.

Levi bent a knee and pleaded. "The devil's son needs my help to destroy what his greed had created. Convenient. First, he kills Behemoth's beloved because of his greed, and now he seeks to destroy the vengeful monster to protect his lover. And to do that, he sends a pawn and hides himself behind the little powers that he can't even control?" "Lord Leviathan, you know what Behemoth would do if he is left unchecked. This isn't just about Lucas alone or his lover. The whole realm could be in danger."

HAVE you ever felt that you might be different? That, in this world, is not how the way you thought about it. But what if behind this beautiful world that you thought it was, lies the secret that would change your life? I am Zeiah, I grew up thinking that everybody around me is ordinary and I am like them, but that's what I thought.

What did Ethan tell you of this book? I hesitated, my breath catching in my throat. There were too many questions. I was starting to feel the familiar yearnings, a need to escape, panic nestling deep inside. 'It's the Gospel of Lucifer,' I replied. 'You said so yourself. It was written by Lilith. It contains Lucifer's teachings, his plans to overthrow the Angels.' He nodded, pressing his thin lips together. 'It does contain his teachings, that is true, and it was written by the witch, Lilith, but it is the Gospel of the Morning Star. The light-bearer. The shining one. The bringer of dawn.'

Chapter 75: The Leviathan’s Maw The Leviathan did not just float; it displaced the very idea of the ocean. It was a three-hundred-meter nightmare of jagged obsidian and glowing violet circuitry, a submersible designed by the Sentinels to be a mobile throne for the Hive Mind. As it crested the waves, the sheer displacement sent a thirty-foot wall of water crashing against the surrounding UN destroyers, tossing multi-ton ships like bathtub toys. "It’s not just a ship," Jade whispered, her silver wings flaring to life as she stabilized herself in the air. "It’s a living server. It’s carrying the biological essence of the thousands of 'failed' Updates. It’s a graveyard that can think."

Leviathan sighed in defeat and sat down the bed, expression soft. “I…Even though I am one of the Lords here, I cannot do a lot—I know I’ve held this explanation off for years but I am weaker—way weaker compared to your father. Your father has a huge domain in hell. I can’t oppose him. And you’re better off being under his protection. I know deep inside you’ve held some form of adoration for your father, I wouldn’t change anything if I was given the chance, Crocell. I would happily give you to be his son as long as you’re safe.” Leviathan rambled off and I looked at him with both confusion—and maybe I looked at him differently now.

As she slowly drifted off into her slumber, she couldn’t help but recall the words of Leviathan as it introduced itself, and a thought sprang into her mind. “Is Leviathan a snake of ancient times?? I’d check the library first thing tomorrow morning to find out more.”

“Read it aloud for Levi to hear, Count Leviathan.” Count Leviathan nodded his head frantically; his fingers were shaking with excitement. “Count Leviathan the Envious, your concerns and merits have reached me through my son, Damon. I have pondered things over and after a thorough consideration; I reached the conclusion that I can heed your demand on one condition. Let your successor bend the knee to either me or my son right after you read this message. Sincerely, Demon King Lucifer the Prideful.” The Count’s voice choked upon the realization that he could achieve his goal to be the demon king’s right-hand man.
