“Don’t be afraid. Nina will be fine.” Nina and Yvonne slept together that night. Before bed, they drank the calming tea Yvonne had made. It worked well, and they fell asleep quickly. But Nina had another nightmare. In it, many people were crying. The dark room was filled with a heavy scent of blood. There were cries, terrifying laughter, and a ghastly face. Nina woke up in a fright. “Nina, did you have another nightmare?” Yvonne asked. She had heard Nina’s sobbing even before she woke up.

Author's POV Somewhere in a beautiful mansion, a young beautiful lady could be seen sleeping peacefully. Silence has taken over the atmosphere since it was nighttime. All of a sudden, murmurings and whispering voices could be heard. The lady turned over and over uncomfortably on her queen-sized bed. She seems to be having a nightmare, she started sweating profusely. A look of horror could be seen on her face. Her lips were moving slightly. Carina solemnly said. "Are you worried about Lona's warning?" "Uhuh. I also keep getting nightmares these days." She closes her eyes. The vivid images of her nightmares flashed by her mind. A dark and tall shadow is creeping out from under her bed. It's slowly approached her with a wide grin on its smoldered face. Its nails are long and sharp. Carina trembled in fright as she remembers its dangerous glints, full of vengeance and malice towards her. That shadow tried to touch her stomach while cackling boisterous laughter. Its laughter resounding in her dim-lit room, and Carina jolted up from her sleep, screaming in horror and fear.

When I approached, she barely glanced up. “Good morning, Annie.” “Hi,” she mumbled, her voice flat. I knelt beside her wheelchair. “How are you feeling today?” She shrugged without making eye contact. “Annie, look at me.” Reluctantly, she raised her head. Dark circles shadowed her eyes, and her skin looked pale against her pink sweater. “Did you sleep okay last night?” “No.” The word came out as barely a whisper. “Want to tell me about it?” She shook her head, then reconsidered. “I keep having nightmares. About Auntie Barbara coming back.”

Liora's POV The nightmares started three nights after the training room attack. At first, they were quiet — soft whimpers in the dark, Alora tossing and turning in her sleep. But by the fourth night, they had become full-blown terrors that tore through the silence of the mansion like shattered glass. “Mommy! No! Don’t take me!” Her scream ripped through the room at 2:47 AM. I bolted upright, heart exploding in my chest, and pulled her into my arms before she could thrash herself off the bed.

Cutie was sleeping at the foot of my bed, completely peaceful, unaware of what was going on inside my head. I sat there for a long time, turning the letter slowly in my hands, my mind racing. She stood in the dim light, her face half in shadow, I turned my head and my whole body went stiff and I tried to scream… but nothing came out, my voice was gone.

“Am I being kidnapped?” I ask as my voice trembles in fear. The short-haired lady chuckles, and then I feel something sharp poke into my arm. Before I can react, sleep overtakes me. Jess sat up right and once more it was pitch black, that’s when jess understood what this was. “My nightmares.” Jess whispered, her voiced echoed in the darkness, but it was as if Jess had just said the key for everything to explode.
