"I love you. Goodnight." The call ended. Lucia sat with the phone in her lap and stared at the wall looking sullen. If only she had power to disappear and appear, she would quickly disappear to Alex place and come back without Diego knowing. She lay back on the bed and closed her eyes but sleep did not. She later fell asleep, somewhere between thinking about Alex's voice and trying not to think about Diego's eyes at the dinner table. --- She woke up hearing a voice. It was quite low but sounded urgent and it was coming from somewhere down the hall.

Lucy let out. “Or maybe Lucy, you are the self-titled bitch. Here is something you don't want to acknowledge, Raina, is the Luna of this pack and it is time you started to respect her because any more disrespect from you I will take the right actions against you without caring about Lucian” I held her hand. “It’s fine Ri.” I tried to stop her from the argument with Lucy but she wouldn't stop. “Stop them!” I screamed at Lucian who still stood staring at everything unfolding before him.

Lucia was usually chatty, but this time she was just quietly staring at the ceiling, her hands gently rubbing my stomach. Lucia then suddenly stood up. "I have to wash up," she said. "I am a little bit sweaty. You don't mind if I borrow some of your clothes, right?" She asked, the wide smile not leaving her face. "Of course, I don't mind. You are like a little sister to me. Whatever is mine, is yours." The smile suddenly vanished from Lucia's face. I wondered why her expressions were changing faster than the speed of light today. Forcing out a little grin, she made her way into the bedroom, leaving her phone on the bed.

And whomever it is, was not to happy that they had to stop and they were making sure that whoever was with them knew it. I quietly made my way over to where the voice is coming from and discovered that it was Lara. I made sure to position myself, to where I was able to see her and her companion. She wasn't to happy that they had stopped and she was making sure her companion knew it to. I quietly laughed to myself and thought, she was never good at the stealth part of training. Artemis laughed too, having access to my memories and knowing our sister. Yea, to busy making sure that everyone saw her and saying that she was going to be the next Luna's Beta. Artemis said.

*Chapter 69 I will get you back your son * An eternity passed. Lucia was getting impatient, she bawled her fist to a juncture where her fake nails pierced into her palm. Yet, she still had an innocuous miserable expression on her face. While inside she cursed hard. ' You fool, why are you stupid Jasmine? Don't you get my hint? This girl is a fool. If she doesn't agree my plan won't work. ' Her eyes lit at an idea, and she turned her back to Jasmine dramatically, using this opportunity to pour the stinky liquid which generated easy waterworks. Now, her eyes were unbelievably moistening she turned with her hands folded.

The next morning in Italvia. Lucia had just woken up when Francesca walked in, face tight. Lucia glanced up. "Mom? What's wrong?" Francesca paused, voice low. "Message from Jared. From Khelmark." Lucia—now Lucia Loredan—froze. Then flatly: "I don't want to hear it." Francesca's eyes narrowed. "You sure?" At first, Francesca had been ready to shut it down. Anything from Jared? Not worth it.

That was the only rule I lived by. A sharp knock on the door broke my spiral. “Come in,” I said, my voice sounding rough and gravelly. Luca stepped inside, closing the door behind him, his face a mask of professional calm. He was alert, his eyes scanning the room before settling on me. The way it always was when he came with information. “Boss,” he said quietly. “I have an update on Lucia.” My eyes snapped to his. Every nerve in my body went on high alert. “What about her? Is she still at the estate?”

Almost. It was foolish of them to believe that I would actually betray South City that I had been in for an entire year, loving and growing with them because they offered me a trip out of the pack, my privacy and some arrogant she-wolf who reaches above her means. Then again, if they were not foolish, Lucia would not be able to win this war so easily. “She develops different things really. I just use them to fight,” I said, staring at the ceiling. “There was one serum that she passed amongst all the soldiers to make us strong for the war to come and then another one that—”

"Being with my Luna is the only thing on my schedule today." Three days later, I returned to my old Pack territory to collect the last of my things. As I stepped out of Reno’s SUV, a figure lunged toward me. Luke. His face was a map of bruises, his lip was split, and deep scratches raked his skin. He looked like he’d gone ten rounds with a thresher and lost. When he saw Reno’s arm slide possessively around my waist, his eyes bled to a desperate red. I felt exhausted before he even opened his mouth. "Luke. What now?"

"No need to draw this fight out and risk losing the battle like an idiot." "What? You're tired of playing already? Such a shame, but I think you're right. Toying with an enemy as strong as you would be dangerous." Lucia says. Unlike Arkad, Lucia has not needed to rely on her contract, until now. While still under the influence of the Licia's illusion, the world around him converts back to the room where they were fighting. As Lucia uses her contract, everyone watching is shocked to see the area morphing all around them. Not only is she using her ability to make Arkad see what she wants him too, but her contract also allowed her to bend reality around her.
