From the heart of the rift, a figure emerged; a towering presence draped in ethereal robes that shimmered with shifting hues of moonlight and shadow. Its eyes, pools of sorrow and ancient wrath, bore into Selene’s soul. The figure’s voice boomed, echoing in the silence: “Luna Queen, your power comes at a price. Deuce turned away, dismissing her. "Leave. Now." Lena scurried out, the door closing behind her. Deuce's thoughts returned to Elise and the Elder's warning. Suddenly, the door creaked open. Lena stood there, eyes blazing with defiance. "You may have power, Alpha," she spat, "but you'll never control her." Deuce's eyes narrowed. "Who are you talking about?" Lena's smile twisted. "The Lunar witch." Deuce's grip on the tub's edge tightened. "How do you know about Elise?"

Leila watches from the corner as Carmela steps in with another woman and she frowns.
