Symbols covered every inch, complex patterns I didn't recognize. And around the perimeter, corrupted wolves patrolled. At least thirty of them, their black eyes scanning constantly. As the wound healed a symbol started to form. A blood red bow with frayed tassels was all that remained. The bow around us slipped away. I could move again. Daire scooped me up into his arms. I hugged him back tightly.
