“Go on.” “The witches were an ancient bloodline with sacred magic. But they could not defeat the demons alone. So they created something new. Something powerful enough to protect both themselves and humanity. They merged three ancient forces: the power of a demon, the body of a wolf, and a witch who gave herself willingly to complete the transformation.” I could not help myself. “Let me guess. Like every story like this, there’s a foolish girl who sacrifices herself for some man.” Elly shot me a look that clearly said shut up. But I just shrugged.

Jack's POV The witch’s movements were swift and unyielding as she tossed Simon’s limp body onto the cold stone table in the center of the room. His body hit the surface with a sickening thud, and I could barely breathe as she stood over him, methodically picking up the gleaming axe. The metal reflected dimly in the low light, and a chill ran through me. I was powerless, trapped in place by the witch’s dark magic, my body frozen in fear.

Jackson and his friends waywardly went back inside the room and continued their ritual; it was only a matter of time before someone got a whiff of his this and went ahead and reported to the council. It was almost midnight, and I needed to go home; I went back to the party in search of Christa, but she wasn't anywhere near the party grounds, and the more time I waited, the quicker everyone here got killed by the witch council ( the system).

"You can't lie to me, Aeryah. So you better tell me who the man you met lady night is. You should know that you getting 'laid' is as obvious as the sun."

God better that bandana is clean, that’s what I hope internally as I glare at him one last time through my moistened lashes. The driver opens the door yanking me out which I didn’t cause any trouble. David gets out from the car right behind me in fear of me running away. I mentally laugh at the thought that how afraid they look being the werewolves as I am a mere witch who didn’t posses any powers yet. “Alpha is waiting eagerly for this chick”, driver chuckles wickedly as my skin gets pricked with goosebumps. As David’s hand grabs my arm yanking towards the woods I mentally prepare for what am going to do.

I smashed the door down at that point and went to the restroom, saying, "You can do it, Elyse, just fight!" When I spotted a spider, I yelled "Ahhhhhhhhh!" and slipped. I sighed and carefully stood up, my eyes riveted on it. I accepted it, but I scowled because it was only a toy. Is he a child? He's strange, ah, only kids treat maids like this. I tidy up the mess in the space and the paint on the floor after I take a shower. The space is OK; it just requires some serious cleaning and organization.

My boyfriend was a werewolf I either accepted it or not. The tv was flashing in front of me but I wasn’t watching it. I couldn’t focus. The time seemed to drag by and I couldn’t decide if that was a good thing or not. Standing up I went and looked out the front windows watching as the sun set. And as the witches' laughter rang out around them, Amelia felt herself slipping into their web—a heady blend of allure and danger that promised to unravel everything she thought she knew.

I looked at Mia who gave me a small smile. Just like me, she was exhausted too as this magic took a lot of strength and power. I didn't know if this was the end or just the start of a very dangerous and horrible game, but I knew one thing if I was with my friends, Mia, Sebastian, Elena in some way, and yeah the annoying gemma too, not to forget my mate then I think we could win this game. It was 'we' which meant all of us and I promised we would get through this. I would make my enemy suffer.
