Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Zavian I was very interested in the reason why they needed me to lug this heavy fucking book. I hadn’t touched this book in years. I haven’t needed to. I personally didn’t know any of the Meridian. So, needless to say, when Emerald asked me if I have a book with all their symbols within it piqued my interest. I could see why Emerald would be interested in it, but when she said that Devon and Nate asked her to ask me about the book, I found that weird. The fact that no one outside the magic community had even heard, so when she said that, I was intrigued.

Legacy: The Forgotten World

Legacy: The Forgotten World

Gwenn has done hers. The first thing I did was to go through the records and select the list of potential new council members, Gwenn did the final selection and then I went around creating new legions, I did four more because I knew we would need more warriors to help with the new dangers that were arising. These warriors were sent to deal with the occasional sighting of a creature thought to either be extinct or mythical. When it was too much to handle, my wife was called. Adela was no longer around, going back to wherever she came from and I was a little bit glad about that but it just meant that Gwenn was to go alone for her missions because her companions were gone.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Who would have expected to be killed by a couple of mutant dogs on their daughter's birthday? I gritted my teeth as the memory of talking to Jilin came back to me. Three of them were still alive and they were supposed to go to Historia. The thought made me sick. I didn't want these monsters to be allowed to spend a quiet retirement while all their victims were slowly being forgotten. That was not fair. I shouldn't allow that, but what could I do? The laws were clear and research was important - especially with such a strong enemy. But ... it just wasn't fair. Unfortunately, I realized very early on that life was seldom fair. Actually, it was just a hurdle race that you tried to master in the

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

“Therefore, we will have to go to you.” I clapped my hands with childlike glee. “It helps to know that.” “It will be a few years,” my father warned. “Yes,” I said with a nod, “Lance told me that it will take a few years for enough magic to return to your shine.” “That is correct,” my mother said. “We should get started,” Anton warned. “This herb works best before the sun is in full sky.”

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Merlin returns and looks over her shoulder, “My word, that’s a beautiful book.” She smiles and closes it, running her hand over the cover and tapping at the dragon breath opals in the tail feathers. “And the inspiration for your choice yesterday?” She nods, “Can’t help it, they are remarkable.” He nods and she stands up tucking the book under her arm. “The book was given to me to guard, as much as to read for my own information. Forgive me if I’m cautious with who I leave this with.” He nods and she pats his arm, “But you can read it with me later.” He beams and nods. “I just need to wrap the gifts for the guys then I’ll be back up.” He nods

Rejected Luna's Vengeance

Rejected Luna's Vengeance

His eyes gleamed with malicious intention after facing the little girl whom he thought to be dead during the extermination of the Genesis Coven. Who would have known that Shananel would miss such an important fact? Apparently, the enemy was not as weak as he thought. Somehow, Merlin did not know for sure who would prevail in the war. Talia immediately swerved her body to the right before she decided to gamble. “Reshis Infigar!”

Transylvania Academy: What It Takes To Be a Monster

Transylvania Academy: What It Takes To Be a Monster

After all, she murdered an angel and got away with it. Cent, who was standing for almost two hours already, finally saw an opening to connect with him when the person of interest finally stood up. Merlin’s unfocused eyes and downcast eyes as he headed to the deeper part of the library, making it easier for Cent to ‘bump’ into him. Hugging the insanely enormous book, Merlin continued. His meek attitude reminded Cent of herself when she was still in the mortal world. Maleficent’s past self and Merlin walking with his gaze downcast, the two images overlapped with each other—bringing a bitter aftertaste for Cent.

The Chronicles of Kelor : Book One; The Boy Alpha

“You can’t see it from this far but the road deeps into the town, which is before that hill.” “I should get out of the castle more often.” “Indeed you should, my prince.” A faint shriek rang out, causing my hairs to stand. I signal to my patrol to stop and they obey. The shrieks grow louder and as they do, a swarm of humans emerge from the snowy sea. “How should we attack, commander?” Valark asks. “We are heading back to where we came from.” “No!” he shouts. “I will not be denied my moment of glory.” I grab the reins of his horse and say, “We are going back, that’s an order.”

Rise of the Darkness

Rise of the Darkness

I shivered seeing his dark smirk. "Celia, how many times do I have to tell you, do not open…" Chris came from behind but he didn't complete his sentence. "Why are you here Merlin?" He asked the stranger. "You thought I would forget everything you have done. Now it's pay back time." Merlin said and took a step towards me. I tried to move away but I was frozen. Like I couldn't move at all. "Chris, I can't move." I said as tears started flowing freely from my eyes.
