I don't know what was wrong with scumbag. I walked out of the hallway, outside, and a fresh cold breeze hit my skin. My hair danced to its melody. I took a deep breath, shoving out all the negative feelings in my heart. I still have a few days to get out of this mess, and once I'm done, I will never make such mistakes again. Shopping ~***~ The third week of December came, it was a bright but snowy Saturday and also Reign’s birthday. Thankfully they took Dominic’s advice and went shopping early. The place was crowded even though it was early, there was no space in between people. It feels like a four wall house closing in that has no window or way of escaping. You are just suffocating.The streets were all packed like sandwiches in a small shut dish. After stopping at the final store to pick up some christmas wreath and decorations for the tree.

I learned to be thankful and quiet. That acceptance made me hate Christmas. Love songs made my skin crawl. The lights under our tree looked like glass eyes. The ribbons on the presents were traps. Every year, the house tuned itself to cheer and I pretended to enjoy it. The twenty-fifth became the night when a new kind of cold touched my bones. It was the day the truth had crawled out at me like an animal. It was the day I had learned how much of my life had been decided by other hands.

Karen stepped in smiling “welcome home Mina” She suddenly sniffed the air and with a knowing smile looked at Aramina “you are as red as a tomato, what were you thinking?” Aramina turned redder from embarrassment Karen busted out laughing, “Don’t worry, you will soon get used to it, we wolf blood love sex, we have no inhibitions, and we sure are animalistic in the act” Aramina closed her eyes with her hands and ran into the bathroom closing the door to Karen’s laughter. “You look beautiful Mina,” Karen said happily, she applauded herself for a job well done. I read as I swipe down the list, “There’s Christmas carols on the playlist——Silent Night, We Three Kings, The First Noel…” Before I can finish, Jamie strikes a cold stare at me, “No.” “No Christmas carols? Oh, okay.” I swipe to the next session, “We can do Christmas Pop too——Justin Bieber’s Mistletoe, Robbie Williams’s Merry Kissmas, oh wow there’s even Lil Nas X’s HOLIDAY.” He’ll totally nail his entrance with these songs. However, it seems like Jamie doesn’t think so. He gives me a deep exhale, “No. Chandelier. No.”
