Damon's POV "Are you okay?" My mother asked in concern as she tried to help me up from the floor. I shook my head, my brain spinning with the thoughts of losing my wolf. "N-No I'm not fine. I-I can't feel my wolf anymore," I stuttered in response. My mother's brows furrowed, "What do you mean you cannot feel your wolf? You must be thinking things. Come on, I'll help you to bed," she said and tried to lift me.

I then walked up to Krewe and looked up into his eyes. "Look, this is new for me. My body aches, and my head hurts. What might be normal to you is not so normal to me. This is freaking me out. I've only read about beasts like this in stories. The stories make us believe we're monsters. So here I am, trying to accept the fact that I'm a monster, walking with another monster, trying to decifer if this is all real," Tears started to flow down my cheeks. I didn't want him to see me like this, but I couldn't hold them back anymore.

MIA’S POV The moment my eyes snapped open, the battlefield fell into a stunned silence. Power surged through my veins like wildfire, alive, untamed, unstoppable. My body felt weightless, yet I had never been stronger. Every inch of me pulsed with the raw energy of the White Wolf. Keith’s expression twisted in disbelief, his hands clenched into fists. “No… This—this can’t be happening!” His voice wavered, but I saw the truth in his eyes—fear.

“I felt something strong about you, but I thought it was because of Abby.” I didn’t know what to say to that, did Abby come and get taken away from me again? Did the Moon Goddess really like torturing me because I am that weak? I felt a little pissed off. “Um, I don’t know,” I said looking around. “Hello?” I said out loud. “Um hi?” Micah said kind of confused. “I am seeing if I have my lycan,” I said confused. “I don’t know, I have this weird sensation in my head, but nothing else.”

Feelings no human should ever feel. As I pour the water slowly down my chest, I think about how different I feel. When I started this, I was a little girl. Now, I feel like a hungry wolf that's never satisfied. With every kill. With every pound of flesh, I eat. It's never enough. I feel it growing inside me. It scares me, but excites me at the same time. For every animal impulse I give in to, I feel empowered. Stronger. I close my eyes and pour water over my hair when I hear a throat clear.

I feel so dizzy I could throw up the food I didn’t even get to eat this morning. “Someone help me!” I yell, spinning round and round. I feel like I’m falling now. I’m falling falling and falling. And then I hit the ground with a heavy thud. “Ow, fuck!” I exclaim because the hit was super gnarly. I’m going to heal, I know that. But damn. I think a headache is the least of my problems because I hear something growl next to me. And I don’t think that thing is a werewolf.

“Define weird.” She huffs out a breath that’s half a laugh, half a tremor. “When I look at Rowan…” Her gaze flicks to where he’s checking weapons near the door. “It hurts. Not physically. It’s like—regret. Heavy. Old. Like something he carries and never sets down.” Rowan freezes. Just for a fraction of a second—but I see it. Mae swallows and turns to me. “And when I look at you,” she says, voice quieter now, “it’s fire. Not anger. Not rage. Just… heat. Like you’re burning forward no matter what’s in your way.”

Every inquiry with my eyes was met with their perfunctory answers: "You need to rest now, don't think too much." "When your body recovers, you will know everything." Kael did not appear once. No one mentioned what happened at that ritual. A few days passed. My body improved somewhat, and I could barely make a hoarse, weak sound. While my mother was wiping my face, I used all my strength to squeeze out a few words: "Where... is Kael?" My mother's hand trembled, and the towel almost fell to the floor.

I can feel the electricity in my stomach, I was moaning, and my hands automatically reached his pants. He grabbed my hands, "slow down, tigeress," he said.

This feeling was strange, but also wonderful. Of course not everyone could enjoy this feeling Although Alpha King's voice was very gentle but powerful, everyone was tense. This scene made me suddenly remember when I was a kid I made a mistake.
