“She carries our mark. Our scent was on her first. You stole her from us like some thief in the night.” I took one deliberate step closer. The monster inside me, the ancient, ruthless part of my power, stirred and pushed against my control. Silver fur rippled across my forearms. Claws extended from my fingertips with a faint metallic sound. The triplets’ eyes widened, but they held their ground. Foolish.

After helping me get ready I made my way to the hallway and my chicks followed. And the elevator groaned again. Footsteps. Not Dominik’s. Someone worse. A shadow darker than even Alessio. And Noa realized, too late They weren’t out of this yet. They’d just walked into the next nightmare.

I said, completely confused. “Voidhollows don’t attack continuously like that, unless they are drawn to you. Bloodline, power. You have that, I guess.” He told me. “I didn’t ask to be a monster magnet,” I muttered, rubbing my hands on my hoodie. Auren stepped closer, his presence was oddly comforting. Not like Lucian’s predatory one or Kael’s tensed one. Just calm and steady. “There is nothing bad about it. If you keep attracting them, it may be for a great cause. You just have to learn how to harness that power within you.”

His hand lifted, hovered just inches from the handle. If he turned it , if he stepped inside there’d be no undoing it. Not this time. He could finish what they started. Bury himself so deep inside that mouth, inside that want, that for a few hours, he wouldn’t have to think about betrayal and bloodlines and wedding vows. He could forget. But the thing about monsters was they followed you, even after the lights went out. And Rafael already knew, no matter how hard he tried to kill this thing between them, it wouldn’t stay buried.

All I could hope for her to be happy and never come back to this place . I got up from the park bench . The early morning sun didn't help much with the cold either. I smiled at how terrified Belle was of giving her finals . She had clung on the phone call forever to find comfort .It felt good to know that the things that scared her were as simple as that. I picked up my pace to the haunted place I was forced to call home .

Then Aaron who didn't walk away but stood behind her door hearing everything she said, finally left grabbing everything she said to herself. Now, Aaron is totally confused, he wanted to believe that Alice had already reported him to the hunters but the hunters didn't believe her, but he can't possibly agree with that not when he knows that the monster hunters are not Black Dragons, hunters hunt both Monsters and Black Dragons too because they are criminals, the hunters hunt everything that seems invisible. Aaron couldn't agree with that since it wasn't just about him. He could have easily agreed if it were only about him, but this involved delivering someone to them and also included a Mr. M

I said in a low voice. “Mum, when did you get rid of the monster?” Violet asked again. “It’s been quite a while. It happened on the day of our wedding,” I said. “So the Monsters showed up at the wedding and stopped it?” Violet’s eyebrows went up. “Well, apple, the process is quite long. You’ll get it when you find your partner,” I whispered. “The monster came to Ethereal Hunters because it smelled a pheromone that made it smell sweet and anxious. But don’t worry, if werewolves weren’t so greedy, monsters like that wouldn’t exist anymore.”
