“You think I don’t know that?” “I think you know but you don’t care,” Elias snapped. “I warned you. We don’t fall in love with humans. When we do, we lose ourselves and when they die which they always do we become monsters trying to bring them back.” My voice dropped to a whisper. “She’s not like the others.” “They’re all ‘not like the others,’” Elias said bitterly. “Until their blood is on your hands, and it’s too late.” I stepped forward. “I didn’t come here to argue. I came for help. I want to control this,i want to stop the hunger without feeding.”

It showed a video feed from the system. Through the screen I saw them. They did not look like zombies from movies. These things were fast. Their bodies twitched violently as they ran on all fours. Their clothes were soaked in dark blood and their jaws were stretched open in a scream of pure hunger. Their eyes were milky white, completely devoid of life or emotion. The three workers tried to scatter. They ran toward my rented moving truck. They stood no chance against the virus. The first monster reached them in seconds. It leaped through the air. Tackled the heavy-set man to the ground. I watched the screen as the remaining four infected swarmed the two workers. Their limbs tangled together

They had such an excellent bond based on their likes and dislikes. The real Monster had not yet finished, but had just started. She would awaken Luther's true monster. She would destroy him and his family. She would make Noelle's life an absolute hell. This is the second part of Monster. *********
