Jolie POV 2:47 AM — Full Moon The water breaks with light. Not a slow seep—an explosion of light that floods the room and blazes through the cabin windows and wakes the compound faster than any alarm could. I hear it before I fully process what's happening: the sound of wolves rousing, voices, boots on the path outside. He was looking at them from atop the cliff, as they bonded happily at the beach below him. Moon was hopeless as he watched them all. "Mom, look, I did a paper plane!" Lunar Invel was looking happy. He smiled, as Moon's mother lifted him up to make the paper plane fly.

I asked, holding the winding rod in my hand and I insisted Moon stayed out of the mirror, possibly hiding somewhere. He was pacing towards me, his footsteps calculated and I paced backwards. My hands clicked on the switch and the light beamed into life. "Ramanov?" I peered through and he grinned slyly. "This is an expensive joke," I said, dropping the rod onto the floor and walking towards Moon who was scared the same way I was. "I know you're restless, you've found her?" He said grinning at Moon, she returned it with a giggle "Jade told me you left the restaurant angrily." I let out stuffing the bed.

I lay down in the creek on my back, breathing in slowly, aware that I was low on time, but feeling so much stronger here in the water. I closed my eyes, relishing the refreshing feeling for one moment more before pushing myself up and marching off, water bottle in my hand.

Unconsciously, I walked towards the town and found myself again in Ronald's house. It was exactly dark when I reached his house. I looked above from the dark sky, and I was amazed by the full moon. My lips parted. It's full moon. It's a wolf moon. I was amazed by the moon that I didn't notice that someone opened Ronald's house’s gate! I stopped and gazed my eyes there and I stiffened when I saw Ronald again. I blinked twice as he stared at me and from that moment, I felt something within me.
