William glanced at the nightstand, the empty bottles, one still tipped on its side, and got up to start clearing them away before Matthew walked in and saw the state of the room. It gave his hands something to do besides feel warm for no reason. By late morning, Jacob was at the office. He sat behind his desk, a stack of documents spread neatly before him, pen moving in clean strokes. Chapter Forty Three (Chrisitan POV) My eyes snap open and I am greeted by the dim light of my room. Laying on my bed I look around. There is my Beta Lex, my parents and Kathy. “What happened?” Lex steps forward “From what Bradlley explained, the Moon Goddess told his Alpha how to reject you with her still having your mark. The mark will fade over time and will disappear fully when you mark someone else.” His eyes dart toward Kathy who smiles softly.

Sophia gasped. She watched Atlas crush the object into dust. "You are safe for now, miss transporter," Atlas teased. Rolling her eyes skyward, Sophia told him she didn't feel anyone insert it. "Why is a needle called a demon mark?" She asked curiously. "It is a demon mark for death and you were tagged like an animal to be taken to slaughter. Not all marks are made by the teeth," he mumbled with a shudder.

They talked about a lot of things on their way to the market. It took them thirty minutes to arrive at the market.It was crowded since most people preferred to go to the market in the morning to get fresh vegetables and fruits.
