After a brief moment of awkward silence between us, he finally revealed his request for us to be friends. I swear I wanted to say no, knowing that my crush on him would only grow bigger and deeper, but then he began rambling about how nice I was to him on his first day of Literature Class and how I can easily reject his request if I feel uncomfortable or find him not suitable to be friends with me.

Before he could kiss her, she put her hand on his lips. “What?” he asked, frustrated.
