Welcome dudes and dudeths! I'm honestly Soo excited to start writing a book of this caliber. Apparently this is my very first Nigerian book, yup very first. I've always had the thought of writing a book that brings awareness to some of the bad things going on in our society today, practically to all teens out there in the world, and how we can change our society at large. Nigeria has 36 states and in these many States, there are different cultures and traditions. I came from the Eastern Part of Nigeria, popularly known as the Igbo Tribe. Everything has a certain way it has been from the time of their ancestors and until now so anything that isn't of the norms is a big No and very much frowned upon. I was born into a family of four. I have an older brother, an older sister, then there is me and my baby sister. The numbers pretty much summed themselves up matching with the genders so there was no cheating.

Agbai said. "That would be great but I've read Nigerian books and watched their films. I believe I know a lot." Raymond said. "Yeah, me too," I said. We both looked at each other and smiled. "I love Nigerian books but I read Shakespeare's books mostly and I think he is the greatest author of all time," Agbai said. "Shakespeare isn't the greatest," I said. "Perhaps it would be Homer and Tolstoy," Raymond said. "That's what I was thinking," I said.

Okay guys, a brief authors note before the main one comes after chapter 10 or 11. My name is Onyeanuna Ogechi Suzan I'm currently 19 years of age and an undergraduate at the Federal Polythecnic Nekede Owerri here In Imo State, Nigeria. So this book has a kind of Nigerian setting so don't be confused. I know some of you are wondering what these signs < > and this * * stand for. Well I use this < > when people outside of the main characters are speaking or when there are background voices.

Reading books has been my therapy lately. "Let's get to it," I mumbled before I started searching the shelf to find a book to keep me busy, and I finally found one, 'Promises Are Made To Be Broken' by Cha Cha, a Nigerian author. Although it was my first time checking this book out, but I trust her work to always come out good, because I've read some of her books in recent days and found them all interesting. I had no idea why her books are here on the royal shelf, well, that wasn't my problem though.
