Nerdy To Badass Werewolf

Nerdy To Badass Werewolf

She looks over at us with a soft smile before resting her head on our shoulder. "Do you ever think we'll be normal?" I ask her curiously. "Theo. We'll never be normal. As Maya Angelou always said 'If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be'"

The story line is good, but the grammatical errors are far too distracting. This is a great first rough draft as it pulls you in. It beckons the reader to continue on with a sense of curiosity. I do have to put it down multiple times in order to break myself away from the frustration with errors.

Blood Wedding: A Mafia Romance

Blood Wedding: A Mafia Romance

There was a small scar on his left wrist that I'd never noticed before. "You're staring," he said without looking up. "No I'm not." "You definitely are." "I'm just... thinking." "About?" "About how weird this is. Us. Sitting here having dinner like normal people." He set down his fork. "We are normal people." "We're really not though. Normal people don't have armed guards outside their door. Normal people don't worry about getting blown up every time they get in a car." "Okay, so we're not normal. But we're still people. We still have to eat."

The President's Twins (English)

The President's Twins (English)

It's completely fine to find other people good-looking. "What? Are you getting attracted to other people? I shouldn't have said that," he said, still frowning. I laughed softly there. "No seriously. It's normal to find other people good-looking," I said with a shrug. "Getting attracted to other people is not normal," he said annoyed. "Yeah, I worded it wrong. But it's normal to find them pretty and good-looking," I said. I don't even understand why we are getting so worked up over this.

Why would anyone ever think that there is something wrong with them? The eldest male, the head of the family, her father. A sales executive. To the normal and unknowing eyes, nothing too extravagant. An average pay grade, middle class income, satisfactory job. With a humour of acquired taste and unquiet nature why would he be wrong? Sociable, friendly and normal.

The Bride He Never Wanted

The Bride He Never Wanted

"What do normal people do when they're trying to get to know each other?" "Well, typically they don't start with prison breaks and torture facilities, so we're already off to an unconventional start." He laughed, and God, I loved that sound. "Fair point. So what would you want to do? If we were just... normal people on a normal day?" I thought about it for a moment, looking around my apartment. "Honestly? I'd probably just stay in. Maybe watch a movie, order takeout since my fridge is apparently depressing, just... relax."

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Even if it was just such small scratches? Sighing, I let my gaze wander over the people. They all looked so normal. Most wore simple casual clothes, a few were even there in suits or evening dresses. If I ran into these people on the street, I probably wouldn't even have a second look at them. They all looked so ... average, normal, nothing out of the ordinary. It was all the more incomprehensible to me that they let themselves be attracted by such a carnage.

LOVE IN TEXAS

LOVE IN TEXAS

“Better than perfect. Who can live up to that?” He threaded his fingers through his hair in agitation. “You’re expected to do something heroic every time you turn around. Kitten up a tree on your block? Call the hero, he’ll get it down. Backed-up toilet? Why, we’ve got a hero down the street. He’ll take care of it. Then you do something maybe not so heroic, like, oh, I don’t know, let the grass get too high, or drink too much, or don’t wash the car or paint the house when it needs it. Then, instead of just being a normal person, you’re a disappointment to all those people who thought you were a hero and expected you to be perfect and heroic every damn day for the rest of your damn, stinking

OFFSTAGE, on my Mind

OFFSTAGE, on my Mind

he said, softly enough that Rory didn’t turn it into a headline. “What is?” I asked, even though I knew. He shrugged slightly. “This. Normal.” I kept my tone light because that word, normal, was starting to feel like a delicate thing. “Bright side,” I said. “Normal is free.” Jace smiled a little. “You say that like it’s rare.” “It is,” I said, and his smile faded just enough to remind me we were both thinking the same thing. Around 5:30, the door buzzer sounded.
