Nosebleed After Shower Novels & Stories

Lifting my hand to my nose, I confirmed it,thick red streak across my fingers. A nosebleed. Not from heat. Not from exhaustion. From him. I was slipping. And it was starting to show. Being near him… made it worse. He’s not good for me.

"Ten minutes ago. We were arguing. She was upset." A doctor appeared, an older man with silver hair and steady hands. Dr. Morrison. He'd treated my family for years. "Cade." He nodded at me, then turned his full attention to Scarlett. "Let's see what we have here." They worked quickly. Checked her blood pressure. Examined her nose with a light. Asked her to rate her pain, her dizziness, and whether she'd hit her head. "We're going to need to run some tests," Dr Morrison said. "Blood work, possibly imaging. The nosebleed could be caused by several factors: stress, dehydration, trauma, or something more serious."

My reflection stared back at me with silent accusation, and suddenly, nothing made sense. Snatching a washcloth, I begin scrubbing my face furiously. Despite how bad it looks, there are no bruises, no cuts, no swelling. “It’s probably just another nosebleed,” I mumble. They’ve been happening more and more often lately, especially after seeing him. Something always worsens after we cross paths—migraines, bleeding, something. I blink, leaning in closer to inspect the reflection. My stomach twists when I spot the whites of my eyes—no longer white, but clouded with a deep red hue. “What on earth?” I whisper, horrified.

I sneezed out another lump of clotted blood from my nose, resulting in a painful non stop nose bleeding "Damn it, it isn't a good sign.."

The flow of blood increased quickly and without asking for permission I rushed out of the class to the ladies room. “Darn it.” I groaned washing my nose and trying to stop the bleeding but it only got worse. “Are you ok?” The pink and purple haired girl I had snapped at when I run out of the gym asked after stepping out of one of the stalls. “Yeah.” I nodded.

Her face was slightly lowered to hide the blush on her cheeks. Understanding what the woman meant, the doctor nodded. “Actually, nosebleeds are common in concussion patients. But, if it could be avoided, wouldn't it be better? So, try to hold it in until the patient is fully recovered.” Seeing the suppressed smile on the doctor's face, Gabriella lowered her head to the maximum. Max was forced to hold back laugh seeing his wife's behavior. "Thank you, Doc. We'll take your suggestion," the man said, saving Gabriella from embarrassment.

Shane’s voice sounded wheezy because of nosebleed. Audrey anxiously opened the door and saw the man kneeling on the floor while holding his nose filled with blood. “Oh my gosh! You’re bleeding!” She looked around to find something that she might use to stop the blood flow from his nose but in fact, she didn’t have any idea how to do it thus she was also clueless about what she should find to help him. “Ugh! Help me up,” Shane murmured under his breath. Other than his nose, he seemed fine. Audrey nodded her head furiously and pulled him up by the hand. She led him to the bathroom by instinct and let the water flow from the faucet.

I cry silently against my bedroom door for awhile and then make my way to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and take in my appearance. My long brown hair is disheveled and my blue eyes are red and swollen. I glance down and notice my nose is still dripping blood and starting to swell a little bit and my cheek is a dark shade of pink. I've treated myself plenty of times so this is nothing new. I was actually lucky this time it was just a nose bleed.

Chapter 18 ISLA Just as I bent my head, blood trickled down and touched the back of my palm. And another dropped again. I was almost panicking. What was happening? I raised my head up and looked at the vanity mirror in front of me. The blood came from my nose. I had a nosebleed. I quickly took out a tissue and wiped it off. I went to the restroom to wash my face. I got prepared again and went outside to meet the others.

I asked. Xavier did not answer. I took the opportunity and tried to break free. Xavier let go, letting my head thunk down on the sink. I was in so much pain that my vision blurred. I felt a warm trickle from my nose. Panicked, Xavier said with what seemed like concern, "Why is your nose bleeding?" I grabbed a piece of napkin and said lowly, "Don't concern yourself with it. It's just bleeding because of the dry weather. Xavier was just about to say something when his phone rang.
