This Transmigration is Wrong!

This Transmigration is Wrong!

As for Lisa, it was a good thing that she was fond of reading books which included medicinal books that helped her discern the herbs she had bought that totally looked like a bunch of grasses in Naomi's eyes. Although Naomi was similar to Lisa's fondness over reading books, most of the books she have read were novels of different genres and since she was from a different world, there were a lot of things that were different from each other in the place she was currently in and with the place she came from.

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

Latent Memoirs

Latent Memoirs

The necklace was with me since then, but I didn't know where that necklace came from since my memories from the past were gone. That would be my biggest revelation, why my memories aren't present? Why couldn't I remember anything from the past? Even a single memory with my parents. I didn't know, but I'll find the answers soon. The necklace was beautiful it has some white diamonds in it. Well, though I wanted to buy that I didn't have much money, even a penny except for the money Hildred gave me. "Do you want that?" I was just shocked when I heard his voice. He's so close to me, whispering to my ears.

Memoires of a mafia princess

Memoires of a mafia princess

I had for once in my life no planning I had to go by, no plans or things to do or any expectations and I felt relaxed to have nothing to do but read a book in a hot bath. Once I was done taking a bath and a quarter of my book further I decided it was time to rinse myself off, I started to get hungry, which my mother would love, and figured it should be about time to maybe go downtown, get myself some new clothes and new books from the money I had saved and was still in the envelope I was given along with my train ticket.

My BEAST HUSBAND

My BEAST HUSBAND

Usually, she would discuss books—or anything—with her mother, which was no longer possible. "What's the title?" As he sipped the tea that Ruby had also made, Ed inquired. It was warm and perfectly fragrant. "Taiko. It's a Japanese novel about Oda Nobunaga and Ieyasu. Have you heard of them? They're real historical figures, but the novel tells the story from the perspective of their servant, making it more interesting. I love the details. The wars and strategies," Ruby explained. Ed listened with an amused feeling inside, chuckling at Ruby's earlier claim of 'not really liking to read.'

Well, I found the 'Memoir' " I asked with a confused look-" What is that?" She replied as she gestured us to sit down-" Something you will like Shawna" John smiled as he already knew about the book and replied while taking the book from her hands while looking at it-" It's the history of WitchLand and other worlds" Junnie took the book in her hands from him and said-" No way, this is the original 'Memoir'?" Jenny winked at her and replied-" Of course"

[26] Memoirist[edit] Main article: Memoir Writers of memoirs produce accounts from the memories of their own lives, which are considered unusual, important, or scandalous enough to be of interest to general readers. Although meant to be factual, readers are alerted to the likelihood of some inaccuracies or bias towards an idiosyncratic perception by the choice of genre. A memoir, for example, is allowed to have a much more selective set of experiences than an autobiography which is expected to be more complete and make a greater attempt at balance. Well-known memoirists include Frances Vane, Viscountess Vane, and Giacomo Casanova. Utilitarian[edit]

자주 묻는 질문

I loved that book, but weirdly, I felt more of that specific melancholy, almost painful beauty in 'The Piano Tuner' by Daniel Mason. It’s not about Japan, it’s about a British man in 19th-century Burma, but it has that same immersive quality of being utterly transported into a world of aesthetic detail and quiet, profound internal change. The protagonist's journey is one of losing his original purpose and finding a different kind of belonging, which mirrors Sayuri's story in a way. The ending left me with a similar hollow ache, which I think is the sign of a story that really got under my skin. 'Pachinko' by Min Jin Lee is the more obvious comparison, and it's fantastic, covering generations of a Korean family in Japan. The emotional depth comes from the sheer weight of history pressing on each character’s choices. For a more obscure pick, 'The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse' by Louise Erdrich. A female protagonist living a disguised life, deep spiritual and cultural rituals, a whole lifetime examined. It’s a different setting but hits the same notes of identity, sacrifice, and time passing.

Sometimes you need that story where the character's inner growth is inseparable from mastering a beautiful, difficult art form. In that case, 'The Girl with the Pearl Earring' is a perfect short novel. The entire narrative is built on glances, silences, and the luminous power of creating art. Griet’s coming-of-age is about learning to see the world, and her own place in it, through a master’s eyes. It’s less about grand drama and more about the quiet, seismic shifts that happen in a restrained life. There's a great sad poetry to it that's very moving.
