Eleanor squeezed her hand again. And when Amara looked at her, she had hoped her eyes were showing just how proud she was of her friend. Since Amara smiled shyly at her, looking down on the paper she was holding, she felt that the message has been delivered nicely.
“That’s a lot of vegetables,” The man commented, already going back at his counter and taking some of the vegetables and placing them inside a paper bag. “You should add some meat, girls. Otherwise, these vegetables won’t taste any good. Right?”
