James said. He grinned at Gary's grim expression and then continued, "Riley's father ... that William Mackenzie is the most powerful god of war ever. So, how could someone like Evan De Kruk whose name I don't even remember be able to defeat Riley?"

“Want to send me back?” She laughs. “Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury have already begged. I’m sorry Colton you are dead.” “Amanda isn’t done asking,” I tell her. “Neither am I. After everything I had to do to get her, and her to have me, I’ll get back to her.” The goddess looks at me with a coy smile, “you think you are more powerful than a goddess?” “I know that Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and Jove aren’t regular wolves. Athena, Hera, Zeus, Oden. Do you think we didn’t pay attention in school?“ I ask.

Kaelric could endure one or two insults from the Gryphon king but when Lord Orc spoke, it aroused a revolting disgust from the depths of his gut. “At least he lives for decades. How old is he now? Three hundred years?” Alpha Thane of Wolfblood chided Lord Orc's statement in a calm tone, his windless demeanor exuding neither offense nor contentment. “Being alive for long doesn’t mean he’s immortal.” Lord Orc refuted, thick brows knotted together in a hardened scowl. “An arrow to his heart—” he smashed a fist on his right chest because, unlike other beings, a dragon's heart rests on the right side, “—and he’s dead.”

“Thank you ... .thank you…” I was still thanking them when the hairs on my neck stood and I felt burning eyes on me. I lifted my eyes instantly and there I saw the oracle, Kaine, along with other lords and ladies of whiteness, the oracle was superior, he was considered a direct medium between the moon goddess and werewolves. The temple, though without windows, suddenly became hot. His jaw clenched and I could see the internal battle he fought to not look down at my naked body. My nipples hardened under his intense gaze….slowly, very slowly, I saw his eyes take a meager descent down my exposed body.

I nod my head, just listening to her. “Why did you pair a human with the God of Hell?” I need to ask her and she flicks her wrist again and I watch as three orbs float towards us. One is black, one is gold and one is silver. “The black is Fenrir, Theo is silver and you are the gold. Fenrir has waited a very long time for his mates. He thought I didn’t pair him. It made me worry because no orbs gravitated towards him and it broke my heart. Then one day a silver one moved towards his and stuck to him. The orbs are created when the mate is conceived. I never know the gender, only that the orb is a mate. For 28 years, I watched their orbs closely, then one day, a gold orb attached itself to them

He has become a completely different god altogether. Michiall, the playful, vibrant, and extremely curious god of games and mischief has turned into Dorchadais – the literal god of Darkness, wielder of one of the most fundamental forms of energy. But in order for him to be free, the chains need to be fully broken. And because of the lesser amount of dark energy on the middle plane, he also needs a vessel to act as his conduit and bring more darkness to Meanach. Once he has turned Meanach into an annex of Iochtarach, he can then ascend and become powerful enough to face the other gods once again.

"Then speak with Lord Gray. He’ll know where to send the witches—he always knows where the greedy mortals hide." At the name, Orcus’s grin widened. "Ah… Lord Gray. He sold me his soul long ago through one of your ancestors. In exchange, I gave him longevity and power. I cannot wait to strip it from him when his time ends." His laugh cracked through the air like lightning. "Then it was you who cursed him," I accused. "To never recognize the love of his life, even as she walks beside him."

Hudde wanted to know. “You don’t want to know.” The creature behind the door kicked it open and stepped into the corridor. Eude sucked in a breath. “Told you not to open that one!” “We are utterly fucked,” Hudde groaned. The creature—an Undead Orc—stood still, looking at Ayla and the twins with empty black eyes. Instead of armor, the creature was wearing a loincloth and had no weapons.

“I’m Kora’s son and I am here for the mystic orb.” The Grand Wizard of Ouxs makes his way to Lucas as he began to speak. “I know who you are. I can see her fractions in you. I would have welcomed you as my son, but right now, all I see in you is an abomination. Your kind has defiled the creed of wizards and has brought shame to wizardry by embracing the form of a werewolf. All I can give you is death!” The Grand Wizard of Ouxs raised his hand and mysteriously a blue glittering round orb appeared. With the orb, he fired a jet of lightning toward Lucas.

“This child was not meant to carry three. You have done him a great injustice.” Gabriel stepped forward. “We did not—” “Silence.” She looked at Gabriel now, frowning. “You should have known better. The signs were always there. And yet you let the Weaver take root?” “I didn't know he’d awakened,” Gabriel said quietly. “You should have.” Dorian clutched Elias tighter. “Can you help him?” The Oracle slowly circled the group, eyes glowing brighter. “The Weaver of Ends… the third vessel, A devourer of godhood. A spirit that consumed dying gods during the War of Sundering… he sleeps now, but not for long.”
