His sister runs out to greet him, just like his mother. Ruby is Ragnar's twin sister. She studied medicine and is the most renowned doctor in the pack. She is dreamy, kind, and very beautiful, although she has not found her mate yet, and she is already 30 years old, although she has already resigned herself. Their mother, Paula, was infertile and after many years of trying, she finally got pregnant and gave birth to two pups: Ragnar and Ruby. Both have very peculiar characteristics and are very good leaders.

“I want toast. Then I want you to ruin me.” A deep chuckle rumbled in his chest. “Little queen,” he said, sliding down the bed. “You’ll get both.” By midday, Ruby found herself in the garden of his estate, if you could call a blood-lit courtyard surrounded by enchanted trees a garden. The flowers weren’t normal; they moved subtly, tilting their buds to follow her. Somewhere deep in the woods, wolves howled. She felt eyes on her before she saw him. Rudolph stood leaning against the stone archway, arms crossed, eyes molten. “You wore white.”

But there was a look of confusion across Oscar's face for a second. "Black Mountain." I continued. "Well, why do you think only two Packs can exist here in Rosewood?" He threw the question back at me and I sniffed him. There was something so enigmatic about his scent. There was no wolf to him but I was sure he was one. Maybe he was just exceptional at hiding it. That's the kind of trait you have if you've lived with humans.

Kent, an Alpha, probably tired and under pressure of taking care of his clans. He probably doesn’t get to enjoy the simpler things in life like the sunsets. So this was why my sister Marianna was sauntering around in her room in an orange dress which reflected back golden light when she moved, because Marianna was right, I always knew what these werewolves liked. The dress was perfect. Marianna looked perfect. Kent won’t know what hit him. “Mother,” I lazily called. When she didn’t answer I yelled, “Mother, get your butt up here now!”

Oscar’s POV Oscar watched from the porch, leaning lightly on the railing, the autumn breeze rustling his golden curls. Solstice thrummed steadily in his chest, syncing with Cinder beneath Lyra’s skin, and he felt the familiar tug of pride mixed with responsibility. Each pack arriving was a puzzle piece, each leader a partner or potential rival, each pup a responsibility he could not ignore.

The sky was clear, blue like the sea, the sound of leaves rustling at the edge of the forest was only a few meters away from where she sat. "Miss Lily, Miss Lily, are you awake?" Venn's frantic call was outside the door. Lily put on her shoes and went to the main door. "What are you doing in such a hurry?" Venn was still panting. The boy was also a werewolf, but not old enough or strong enough to control the pace of his steps as quickly as other adult werewolves. Venn's movement speed is probably only slightly higher than Lily's. “Master… master called you.”

What I don't know is their personalities though. Owen has the most deep ruby eyes I have ever seen. He has this dead look in his eyes that makes him look fierce yet sexy at the same time. His hair is pitch black, and so long. He wears it wavy, and I have seen it in a ponytail; it all looks divine. He is so tall compared to the three of them, and also the hugest of them. If ‘hugest’ is ever a word. I just cannot find the right words to describe him. He has these muscles that he doesn’t even sweat to show them off, they are just there. He looks maybe twenty years old or so, he isn’t that older than me. And I guess I am a little bit attracted to him more than the other two.

Not really energetic enough to walk back, the brunette sat with her back resting on a tree and her eyes started scanning the place around her. "A nice forest?" Ruby commented, releasing a deep breath and looking down at her hands in sadness, "Did you really have to go, Mira? You promised and now...what am I supposed to do?" She whispered lowly, her eyelids needed sleep but she was too afraid to close her eyes. She heard a twig snap and looked around in alarm. Ruby gasped at what she saw, frozen in place as she stared at yellow eyes with amber-gold swirls. Eyes that belonged to a wolf. A werewolf.

“Mate! I found my mate!” And the whole crowd cheers for them. I keep my head down. Nobody cheers for me. Nobody even notices me. I almost decide to slip away when it happens. The scent hits me first. Wild pine. Winter wind. Something electric, sharp enough to burn in my chest. My wolf sits up inside me, ears perked, growling softly. My whole body freezes. And then I see him. Ross Voss. The Alpha’s son. The golden boy. Tall and broad-shouldered with perfect blond hair and eyes like frozen rivers. Even in the crowd, he shines.
