We make a great team. “Let’s go, Raffi.” I turned and saw Rendall brushing his mid-length hair using his fingers. “Are you going on a date?” I asked him as I scanned his clothes.

Lukas was done when two people spoke “ I don't agree with her being our Luna” they said in unison “ What your reason” I can see he is trying to control his anger “She’s human.” They spoke in unison and people began t o murmur. “She’s a hunter.” “She’s weak.”

Not a favorable sign. "Oliver -" I start when we hear a loud howl and we sprint towards it in seconds. It's Jax and he's not at all estatic. Oliver is the first one that hurls through the canopy of leaves rushing towards the group of human hunters; knocking a few of them down. His paws pressing into their abdomen as he snarls viciously. Another aims his weapon and I attack, trapping his arm between my teeth as the weapon goes off and thankfully it missed Oliver. I return my attention to my bleeding victim, intent on taking his head next if he even bats an eyelash.

Faces lifted with hope, anger, and desperation. “You all remember Spring River,” Xavier said, voice deepening. “I do too. That wound has not healed. The hunters responsible for that atrocity will pay. Our dead will be avenged.” Roars of approval thundered through the square. “But hear me clearly,” Xavier continued, “the hunters enjoying sanctuary in my kingdom are not our enemies. They are helping rebuild what was broken. They are aiding the human women abused in the breeding factory. Those women and children are innocent. They suffer because hunters also made them prey.”

He runs to find Hunter to come up with a plan. We spot Hunter's wolf fighting two other wolves. Onyx doesn't hesitate and jumps on top of the wolf just before it launches Hunter from behind and instantly sinks his teeth into the wolf's neck before ripping out his throat. Onyx turns around to see Hunter still fighting the other wolf and just when he runs up to help a loud alarm pounds through the air. It hurts my ears and all the wolves stop fighting. Onyx tries to cover his ears when all Jack's men run off. That can't be good.

She smiled. It was a truly wicked smile, slow and devious and made all the more gruesome by the blood dripping down her chin. Light headed as I was, I still felt a chill as those dark, otherworldly eyes met mine. “Didn’t quite go to plan, did it, little hunter?” I smiled right back at her. I had an idea. I couldn’t doubt myself – I didn’t have any other options. “Yes,” I said, falling to the ground and grabbing the makeshift stake, hoping with my whole heart that it would work, that it would kill her, “it did.”

I said, and he stood up. "You can't match their strength physically," he protested. " You will only end up hurting yourself and aggravating your assaulters," he pointed out, but I shook my head. "Did you not say Hunters had a special ability and could match supernatural beings' abilities? Maybe if I learn to fight, I can tap into that ability if I am truly a Hunter." I pointed out, and for a brief second, I saw a sad expression on Oscar's face. It was as if he knew something that I did not know and couldn't tell me.

“Even though I look like this, in reality I am 25 years old. I’m just letting you know. “Oh, right. Before all of that, I had to introduce ourselves. We both are part of the Hunter community and we specialize in hunting creatures from stories.” “Just say spirits. It’ll be easier for him to understand.” “Right. So, I am Yasuhiro Ritsu and this brat is…” “I’m Seirei.” “You don’t have a last name?” “No. I wasn’t born with one. Why? Is there a problem?” he says while licking his lollipop. “No. I thought that you both were related so…” “So you thought I’d have the same last name as this guy. Well, can’t say I wouldn’t think of it.”
