With my hand in the air like that, my shoulder starts to hurt and my hand starts to shake. “Hold it up” he orders hoarsely but with each passing moment, the pain gets worse. The man bent over briefly with a grunt, letting go of me and giving me more than enough time to run further away. All the people that I had seen on my way to the bank were gone, and I cursed when I felt that familiar pain in my chest. My ankles swung slightly in the air, as my bare feet hit the cold floor. My feet still ached a lot more than I wanted to admit, although most of my pains came from my legs. I was used to pain, even though I hated it, but my shoulders hurt, especially over my left shoulder blade. And my ribs were sore…well, more sore than they usually would be. I assumed it was because I didn’t exercise properly recently.
