Parenting Quotes Novels & Stories

"And don't forget to call us here po. Take care and enjoy both of you mommy and daddy,"

Can’t we just enjoy the family bonding without us making feel guilty for not being of help to the old couple for this particular Sunday? “Al, don’t push it. Let’s just enjoy the whole day, okay?” “Okay…”

She smiled at me gently. “Nana,” I said quietly. “Did I make the right decision… reaching out to Kaze? What if I repeat the same mistake I did with Yvon? She looked at me with her usual gentle eyes, but they were sharper today. “Being a parent isn’t about making perfect decisions, Adrian. Your father was nowhere near perfect raising you but look at you now. It’s about being there—especially when it’s hard. You missed the beginning. Don’t miss what comes next.”

Nagbaba siya nang tingin at tiningnan ito. "Saan mo narinig 'yan?"

"Colten look after them, this is really urgent i'll be back ar lunch" "Yeah, take care i'll bring them to my office don't worry I can handle them"

I don’t know why I shared what I was going through with the woman. “Hmm, I think parents sometimes say harsh things to their children to make them realize the impact of their words.”

“Well, too bad. I am their father. I want to give them a grand birthday celebration. They can brag for all they want, we have the money. I have everything they can brag about. You don’t have to worry.” Mahina siyang napailing. “You really don’t know to do parenting, huh.” He looked at her and frowned. “How should parenting be done, then? I thought it’s giving the children what they want?”

“You’re going to be a good father, son,” mahina niyang sabi kay Sebastian. Sandaling natahimik si Sebastian bago siya tumango. “I’m going to try.” “Trying is enough,” sabi ni Daddy Chase this time. “That’s how parenting works. Nobody really knows what they’re doing.” “Great,” sabi ni Kimberly. “So we’re all just winging it?” “That’s literally adulthood,” sagot ni Arturo.

"Pero if words of wisdom para kay Jaq..." this time, I really think hard to form words that could satisfy him to keep living. "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world. Not even our troubles. Kaya cheer up, Jaq. God doesn't give us what we can handle, God helps us handle what we are given." I said straight into his eyes then gave him a bright smile after.

Namiss ko sila Mama at Papa. “With you, we began our journey of parenthood. I can still regret missing day you took your first step. I wish I were there when you were scared to ride a bicycle and insisted that someone ran alongside while you went on a wobbly ride. I need to admit this – I made mistake when I asked your mother to quit her job post childbirth. Life didn't change much for me professionally, but she stayed at home to look after you. Regretfully, I ignored the fact that childcare isn't only a mother's responsibility.”
