Sherri's P.O.V. I try everything I can to get the ropes off my hands, but nothing works. I hear Adam and Lester arguing, so I know I don't have much time. I'm ready to cry, thinking about never seeing Shaun again, but I stop when I hear a female voice. "Don't cry, and don't give up. We're getting out of here." Where did that come from? I'm in the van alone. "You're not going to find me out there; I'm inside you. I'm your panther, and my name is Skye." My panther? Shaun said I wouldn't get her for a few weeks.

It's natural for Skye to be upset on her first day back. Skye, what would you like? I can prepare something else." Her eyes gleamed with triumph and challenge. But these tactics couldn't anger me anymore. "She's a grown wolf now, not some delicate pup. If you can eat it, so can she," my brother growled. "Skye, stop making everyone uncomfortable. Be sensible for once."

"Why are you roaming freely down the hallways?" Skye growled harder, pulling her shoe and shaking his head from side to side. Pursing my lips, I whistled, and Skye's ears perked up. He released the shoe, wagging his tail as he sighted me. "Come on, buddy," I said softly, waving my hand at him. "Oh. Hi, Lyra," Dina greeted, but I didn't spare here a glance, I kept my eyes on the little tiger that instantly released her shoe.

I think you need to go back so he can know that you are okay.” I stand, and the tree stump immediately disappears. “Oh, don’t worry about Skye. She’s doing quite well. She’s developing her powers early because of all the love that she has in her life. She is more open to her wolf, even though she doesn’t know anything about it yet. Also, you and Aston are a different match than there has ever been for a gold wolf. You both are powerful in your own right and even more powerful together. Most of Skye’s powers won’t appear until she’s marked, so that gives you time to prepare her.” Relief

The last I see is a golden lycan running away from the mob. Osiris's little face is peering over her shoulder, watching his home fade into the distance.

Biting his lip Skye placed a drop of the purple vial and a drop of the scar removal potion onto the towel and lightly dabbed it on the infected areas. “Sorry I didn’t react sooner. I didn’t know she was waiting for us out there” Skye said sombrely feeling completely terrible for Anberine as stared at him vacantly, seeing this he frowned. “You can hear me right? Can you see how many fingers I’m holding up?” Skye asked while masking his panic while showing her three fingers, his heart started to beat rapidly at the thought of something truly bad happening to her. Why was she not responding? Blinking a few times, Anberine raised her left brow slightly.
