A GIRL FOR THE BEASTS

A GIRL FOR THE BEASTS

"Hans, Gavriel! You too...'' said Anindira, a little annoyed too because her two spouses also confirmed Duo Lion's opinion. ''That's because, when you tell a story, the atmosphere will change…'' said Halvir again, who followed Gavriel and Hans. ''What?! Well, we can't add or subtract from the story..." Atthy finally chimed in. ''You women might not do that... But, for us men, the adventure story will change when you tell it for the first time because the story will be seen and heard from the direction of your perception... women,'' said Aefar, explaining it clearly. ''HA?'' cried the three of them in unison, asking with a surprised face and astonishment. ''Strange! What's the difference?” At

The Final Cut

The Final Cut

“When you tell a story you are setting a contract with your audience. You don’t say to them ‘Let me tell you something that happened in real life,’ you say, ‘Let me tell you a story.’ People look to stories to give them the things that real life doesn’t.” “Such as?” “In real life your problems are rarely resolved, you don’t get closure on the situations or relationships that have most impact on your life. Your father never explains why he didn’t say how proud you made him. Your ex-wife never apologies for cheating on you repeatedly. Bad people aren’t punished for their crimes and good people go unrewarded for their virtue. We look to stories to give us the closure and the resolution we so de

Rejected love: Second chance mate

Rejected love: Second chance mate

His tone held a hint of enthusiasm, an infectious energy that invited me to step into his perspective, to view this place through the lens of his own fondness and familiarity. I listened attentively, a silent observer of the tableau of stories he shared. Each sentence, each laugh shared in response to a humorous memory, was a brushstroke that added depth and color to the canvas of his descriptions. It was as if he was inviting me to see this place through his eyes, to appreciate its nuances and charm as he did.

A surprisingly good read! The story doesn't drag, no violence being romanticized, and the villain's arch (Noah's madness) is quite surprising, beautifully written and well developed. Believe me, this arch's ending is deeply moving! Main couple gets a satisfying happy ending too. Excellent book!

Third Person POV Tears streamed down their eyes as they reflected each other’s pain while the curtains drew to a close with the audience cheering wildly in the backdrop. The applause did not die down even when the curtains completely blocked the view of the stage and it was not hard to guess that the last dancing pair was the personal favourite of the crowd. Any one in the audience would have killed to be in the mates’ shoes but only the two stakeholders concerned knew the intensity of pain that they were going through.

Chasing His Divorced Wife

Chasing His Divorced Wife

"Not from inside. From outside. The full shape of it." "She needed the external view." "She needed someone else's angle." She looked at the counter. "The neighbor has watched the house for forty years. She knows its shape better than anyone who's lived in it." "Because distance gives shape." "Yes." She paused. "And the protagonist had been so inside the experience she'd lost the shape." She held my eyes. "That's what the fourteenth will do." "Victoria gives you shape." "Her angle does." She paused. "She's been watching from outside for years. She knows the shape of what she did." She paused. "That's what I need from the conversation. Not apology. Shape."

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

"Nora... the drive... it’s not a key for a door... it’s a key for the Point of View! Change the perspective!" The Perspective Shift Nora gripped the drive and slammed it into the rusted steel ground. "I am the Lead Asset!" Nora proclaimed, her silver-streaked hair glowing with a violent, white brilliance. "And I refuse to be the 'Inciting Incident'! I am the Main Character! And in my story, the Antagonist is my Son!" The wasteland began to shake. The "Dystopian" grey began to bleed into a vibrant, emotional red.

Please take care of yourself while reading, and know that it’s okay to step away if anything becomes too overwhelming. Your safety and comfort matter more than any chapter. ⊱⊶⊷⊶⊷⊰ POINT OF VIEWS - POVs. This book is written in dual point of view. That said, not every chapter will alternate perspectives. The POV shifts will happen organically, when it makes the most sense for the storyline. Sometimes you’ll stay with one character for several chapters if that’s where the emotional weight or action is strongest. ⊱⊶⊷⊶⊷⊰

I don't know what to say. I've read dozens of books, none of them made me this anxious, sad, happy, emotional.. It is so beautifully written that while reading, I could picture the scenes of the book as if I were in it. well done, Jane, for putting your soul into writing this book. love it. Tysvm ...️

janedoewritings-this author is amazing!! I haven't been this captivated by anyone's work since Christina Dodd. The story writing is masterful. The scenes are seductive and intelligent. The characters are gorgeous and flawed in the best way. They are a credit to this app!

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

"The book needs all the relationships. The accumulation is not just the accumulation of things in places. It is the accumulation of ways of seeing. The book has to hold all of them." "Then Istanbul is the piece that opens the argument up," Ernest said. "The estate piece established the insider's view. Norway and Greece established different kinds of outsider views. Istanbul will introduce the question of perspective itself — the fact that every view is a view from somewhere, that there is no view from nowhere, that even the attempt to understand the inside view is itself an outside view with its own limitations and its own affordances."
