The venomous needles continued their assault, and then, a massive creature emerged before them. Adrian's gaze grew even colder. “So it was you all along, venomous bat! You're dead!" he bellowed. Before the trio stood a giant bat-like creature, its tail the source of the venomous needles, each one tipped with a lethal poison capable of dissolving a person's very soul upon contact. The bat hissed menacingly, "Humans, this is no place for you. Leave now!" With a roar, it flapped its wings, sending powerful gusts of wind surging through the cave. Now, the reason for the fierce winds was clear.
