Just as he did, one of the healers entered.

Each shallow breath she took felt like borrowed time. “Stay with me,” I muttered, more command than plea. “You’re not done yet.” She stirred faintly. “You always were… bossy,” she whispered. Relief hit me so hard my vision blurred. “Good. That means you’re still alive.” The healing wing smelled of crushed herbs and antiseptic magic. Healers rushed forward the moment I crossed the threshold. Head healer took one look at Betty and paled. “Put her on the table,” she snapped, already rolling up her sleeves. “Now.”

Doctor Felix attempted to persuade her, but Sheila insisted as she had already made up her mind. After failing to convince Shiela to stay, Doctor Felix wrote out some prescriptions and discharged her. Shiela picked up her medication from the pharmacy and hailed a cab back to Bluesky Mansion. Although Richard's security and butler were excited to see her, she kept a straight face, which surprised them since she was always smiling which they concluded she was still in her mother's grief. After freshening up, Shiela grabbed her bag and headed back to the cab that brought her from the hospital and he took off to Roberts Corporation to broke the pregnancy news to Richard.

I have to talk about my past once again to get people to know me and everyone is always fascinated by a healer. By the end of the day, I'll be known by everyone and that's worse because I'll only know by the end of the day if it's a bad or good thing. Will the boys want me for my looks? My body or because I'm a healer? Will the girls hate me because of the attention I'll get from the boys? I will only know later. Healers are extremely beautiful creatures because everyone likes to look at a beautiful specimen to feel at ease or whatever. Healers can also be known as sorcerers. We prefer the term healers because we use our powers to heal ailments and to bring peace in the pack upon the alphas
