Queens Library Hunters Point Novels & Stories

"It is from January 20, 1999. It has the details of a werewolf attack that occurred in this town with the details of all the hunters that were killed as well as the number of wolves they hunted." "They kept the records of all the attacks," I whispered because of the horrific revelation. My family was involved in this, the realization settled creating a heavy feeling in my heart. "Ruhee when was the Queen murdered?" Ruhee's eyes stopped moving on the page and turned towards me. She kept silent for a minute probably thinking about it. "May 15, I don't remember the year that well though...maybe it was 2001." I grabbed a folder that said the year 2001 while Ruhee started reading another folder w

Still confused about what he is saying because my dad has never discussed this with me before he died. “ I told your dad to discuss it with you but he always tells me it isn't time for you to know. Now he is gone you have to know your lineage. Like I said you are from the generation of hunters. Your lineage has always been the leaders of the Hunter's. Now your dad is dead, you are to take over from him. The mantle has been passed to you. Hunters are the ones who hunt werewolves.” I sobbed as tears trickled down my eyes. I couldn't hold it

she asked casually, as if she were referring to a piece of trash. "Send her to the underground crematorium," I answered without hesitation. "Burn her completely. I don't want a single trace of her left in this world. Dispose of the ashes as well." Eloise, who had once ruled the underground boxing arena as its undisputed queen, didn't even end up with a grave marker. Like a venomous snake hiding in the darkness, she was drained of her last bit of use and turned into a pile of worthless ashes. She had vanished without a trace.

I don’t mean to test him, but I have to. “Lana is the mate of his royal highness. She is currently living and located in the Hollow Brooke pack where you resided for 16 years, along with the commander. She is turning 18 shortly and once she does she will come take her place with his royal highness and eventually become our Queen.” “Wonderful. Tell me one more thing. Were you ever part of the squad that performed surveillance on our pack while I lived there?”

“Hunters? I was born and raised here, Serena. I would know if there are hunters in this city. And there have been no incidents of our pack crossing paths with any hunter for decades.” “Not until today.” I reminded her, compelled to tell her what I knew. Questions crossed her face as she pinned me with a probing gaze. “That’s not possible.” “Think about it.” I met her gaze. “The missing girls, the murdered ones, and the pub, do I still have to jot down every fact that there are hunters in this city? Quiet doesn’t mean there are no hunters, Cora.” Her throat bobbed, dread pouring over her features like water running down a waterfall. “Is it possible that they are behind the missing girls?”

“Spill.” Marcus ran a hand down his face, exhaling heavily. “There are werewolf hunters near the territory. Too close.” My jaw tightened. “How close?” “Close enough to be a problem. With the pack run happening, I can’t leave to handle it myself. I need you to go, take some men—” “You want me to,” I said flatly, cutting him off. Marcus nodded, his tone grim. “Yes.” My hands curled into fists at my sides. The hunters were becoming a bigger problem again. Even after we’d destroyed LyRI months ago, they were rebuilding, finding new ways to hunt us, to capture wolves.

Madison said, trying to hide her annoyance. “Okay… let’s get this over with.” I stood up and walked towards the door. Before leaving, I turned and said, “On second thought, I won’t go alone. If Crystal could say no to the queen, then she’s more dangerous than I thought. Warren, can you come with me? I will need a witness of faith.” “Well thought out,” said the queen, while everyone nodded at the same time. Warren walked next to me and, looking at Maddison, said, “Don’t worry, little one. I won’t let the model fool my boy.”

“You think your howls frighten us? We’ve burned two dens this month and you’re next. We’ll line your borders with fire until there’s nothing left but ash. Mothers will bury pups, and we’ll call it justice. You’ll choke on the smoke of your own making.” A warrior at the edge of the room stepped forward and delivered a sharp slap that snapped the captive’s head to the side. He hissed, tasting blood, but his eyes still burned with fanaticism. “Kill me. It won’t matter. Another will rise in my place. You’ll regret thinking you could stand against us. We are the Hunters. We are the line that keeps this world clean. And when Dorian gives the order—we strike.” Cassian crouched low in front of him,

I still needed to ask Jude how I was now able to link with pack members and not when I first came in. 'Squad B, go," I ordered and they all gave a yes to it. I could see all of them from where I was hiding. I was just sitting in the living room And they did more of the hiding in secret places. But I could see all of them. There were seven children, three were in Squad A, while another three made up Squad B. Since Sean was a watcher he was on his own, keeping track of Brenda and telling us her location. "Hey, you're new here, right?"

He didn't appear to be upset to be joining his mate at all. Of the more than 3,000 omegas that had started The Hunt, only 243 were still unclaimed. That night, 243 Hunters returned to the castle and planned the next phase of their attack. Because, at this point in the game, their animalistic nature could do nothing less than attack.
