No one stuck out as being likely to be a hacker. “Who is the hacker anyway?” she asked. “Arthur Wang,” he replied. “He’s in some of your classes and Clarissa had known him since she was 11. I can attest that he will help you no matter what you say. It will just be easier if things are explained clearly to him.” Clara was satisfied with the answer and she was beginning to feel the effect of the long day. She yawned and closed the notebook. She felt she couldn’t do anything else for now. They had already made a lot of progress.

I felt the being in me spur but I clenched my fist to hold myself back. “Eleanor, not now...not here please...” I pleaded with myself as I took deep breaths to calm myself. “Choose one Arthur Murray.” Arthur looked at me briefly and then at Samantha. He must choose one. He must save one head. Me or Samantha Jo. His past or his present. My chest thudded hard against my ribs as I waited, not sure what exactly I should hope for his answer to be. “Miss Ara is asking me to come with her for a walk.” “I’ll come with her instead.” “Yes, Sir.” Czar left them alone. Ara twisted her head towards Vanluke. When their eyes met Ara couldn’t take it back. She watched her own reflection in his grayish eyes. She wondered what it would be like to see that pair of beautiful foreign eyes every morning when she wakes up. Imagine his attention only pointing at her.
