Meeting: Rowling stood at the bow of the ship watching the cliff as the pulled into Raven’s Peak two other ships trailed behind him. Rowling's ship was a deep dark cherrywood, he had liked the cherry color of it because it reminded him of blood stained wood. He wanted the fear aspect to be in everything he did. His sails were a deep dark blood red and his personal flag was white with a sword hanging above a headless man’s body. He even named the ship Trepidation. It was written on the side of the ship in deep dark bold letters.

I immediately opened my drawer and pulled out the secret compartment. When I saw what was inside my blood suddenly came to life. It's been a long time since I have ever used it. Well, it's a dark red cloak that has a design of a black raven on the back of it. I quickly put it on and took my mask well it's a gold mask that has a touch of silver on the edge. I quickly pressed my orvix and thought of the thing I wanted to get and in a flash, the thing that I needed was already in my hands.

Ravena had given Hutchins something more than just political backing, she had provided him with a powerful artifact, a mystical relic that amplified a wolf's strength and power when worn by a shifter. The artifact, an ancient collar passed down through Ravena’s line, was said to enhance the wearer’s speed, strength, and resilience. With it, Hutchins could push himself beyond his normal limits, though the cost was high. The relic consumed the wearer's energy over time, slowly draining them, but for now, it made Hutchins a much more formidable opponent.

Brice was standing next to my table, wearing a lavender shirt with a purple tie. I had noticed earlier that Starla’s dress was purple. I had absently wondered if that was the color I’d see if she was part of my pack. Raven’s eyes are violet, so I have a shade of purple already in the river, but the color Starla was wearing was different. It was the sort of purple one associates with royalty. And Brice, standing there looking at me expectantly, wearing a similar shade, looked more like a prince than I had ever seen him look like one before.
