She blushed ten shades of red, and sucked on her thumb while I dressed her in a new clean one. I opened one of the drawers and got a clean new pacifier for her, I moved her thumb from her mouth exchanging it for the paci, I then carried her next to the rocking chair we now have in her room. I sat down and pulled her with me, getting her book with me, I started rocking us while reading for her, her eyes started to close on their own, I kept rocking her until she fell asleep.

I hardly intimidate anyone, if it wasn’t for the alpha blood coercing in my veins, nobody feared me. “Rockwood.” I said too curtly much to my dislike. He nodded and bowed at the same time and closed his book finally, not before putting a bookmark in it. jeez. “What book exactly you are looking Ms. Rockwood?” he asked way too politely, his behaviour nothing like the one two minutes ago.

He still puckered his lips and furrowed his eyebrows like he used to as a kid when he was focused on what he was doing. I chuckled, making him turn toward me. "Hey, sis. When did you get here? I didn't hear you walk in." he asks, making me roll my eyes as I smile foolishly. I kissed his cheek and sat next to him. "Just now. What are you reading?" I asked, making him clear his throat as he looked at the back of the book and showed me the cover. "Uh, Pound The Stone, by," "Joshua Medclaff," I said, feeling proud. "Good choice," I added, making him chuckle. "So you've read it?"

Her eyes were brimming with unshed tears. Paige ignored Declan's distant behavior and snuggled closer into his arms. Her warm breath tickled his neck as it drifted over. "I'm genuinely terrified of thunder, Declan. I've been like this ever since I was young." Declan swallowed hard. He unexpectedly found himself thinking of Raelynn, who had never shown that kind of vulnerability. She was fearless, hot-headed, and refused to let anyone mistreat her. He had often made fun of her in the past, claiming that nothing about her resembled a typical mild-mannered woman from Javonbury.

My mother looked over at me from the letter and furrowed her brow. “It’s my Book of Shadows.” “Her magic book. It’s concealed as a rock.” Toya waved her hand and I laughed. “Look, it’s weird as fuck seeing you read a rock, even knowing what it is.” Toya leaned back against the headboard. “It doesn’t change from a rock to a book unless you hold it.” Toya finished.

I don’t like the look on her face. “That was Gabby.” She tells me. “Ok,” I reply. “I am guessing she was the woman here with hottie #1 and hottie #2.” I say to her. “Yes, she is the assistant to Brady, hottie #2. They manage the band Crazy.” Evie explains. I know who that band. They are one of the biggest rock bands. I have been a fan since they released their first album five years ago. I look at her. I am not sure why she is smiling at me.

It’s as if their stories speak to me directly” Rocky’s were a popular group of friends who documented their experiences in various aspects of life. They usually told stories revolving around Love, relationships, lifestyle and all that stuff.
