Red Bird Book Novels & Stories

The edges of the book were worn, and the title was nearly faded. He pulled it out carefully and opened it. He turned through the pages slowly as he searched for anything about red forests or moons. Moments later, he stopped. On one page, there was a drawing of a forest filled with red trees, and just above it, he saw the words, 'The Forest of the Chosen.' His heart skipped a beat as he read the text below. 'Only the Chosen ones will see the red forest in their dreams. The burning moon marks the awakening of their true power. If they are not guided, the power may destroy them."

"It had pictures of a red bird with furrowed brows. I can't help but picture Michael as that bird as he glared at you." I blinked before shaking my head. "The rumors are true. You really are weird." Beck grinned. "Is that what people think of me?" "A few," I admitted. "Besides, I don’t see how the angry bird looks like your brother." "You talk like you know it," he accused. I smirked. "I don't just know it—I have it." His disbelief was almost amusing. I stood up, crossing the room to my drawer. Sliding it open, I retrieved the book and turned back to him, flipping to the page with the infamous red bird.

My gaze dropped to the cover of the book in her hands, and I stilled for a moment. An erotica collection. I looked at her face again, at the focused little crease between her brows as she read, completely absorbed, cheeks faintly flushed without her even realizing it. A slow smile curved at the corner of my lips as I watched her. She reminded me of a red sparrow I once had. I had rescued the bird and nursed it back to health. But as soon as it got better, it tried to escape the pretty cage I had made for it. The bird's actions did not sit right with me, so I broke off its beak and cut off its wings, then sat there watching it until it died.

So I carried both Davis and Davina on either side of my thighs. “Are you comfortable?” I asked calmly. They nodded happily. I opened the playbook and the first page was beautifully crafted with the picture of a little girl wearing a red dress and her hair packed in two ponytails. She looked so pretty just like Davina. “Once upon a time, a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood lived in a village. One day, her mother asked her to visit her sick grandmother who lived in a cottage in the woods. Little Red Riding Hood set off on her journey, wearing a red cape.” I read the first page while both listened with rapt attention.

Soon he will see more and more of her beautiful smile and hear more of her laughter. He thought of another interesting topic for them to talk about that evening. He brought a pack of books about mystical creatures. Ruby, enthusiastic about the reading asked Eric about the books he brought. They talked for hours about all the different species and mystical creatures. She was astonished by the amount of interesting creature she read through the books. In one of the book shows the drawing of the vermilion bird. She read through it and Eric, who saw that she was interested in it, was talking to her about the mystical creature.

They had already gone through ten books, but Syanna felt like it was right under her nose. Then it hit her. Right under her nose. She glanced down at the spot she took the dragon book from, skimming the shelf for anything about vampires. Her heart leapt when she spotted a red book, with black lines all connecting to the centre where a ‘V’ sat. “This has to be it,” she mumbled to herself. “It has to be.” But as she tried to pry It open, the book wouldn’t budge. She dug her fingers between the pages, trying desperately to get it open, but it wouldn’t move.

That meant that I had missed out on nearly five years of training. One thing that Talia and Vivian had shared with me was how calming the guardian wolves could be for their red wolf. Because the red wolf always seemed to be tuned in to the emotions of others, it could be overwhelming at times. The guardian wolves offered a sense of grounding for their red wolf. It helped in situations that were emotionally intense or when the red wolf had to use their abilities.

He came over to me and handed me the book before sitting back by Margarette. I looked at the book that had the book cover Of Mice and Men on it. When I opened the book, I could see that it was really a book about Red Wolves. "This belongs to you now," Charles said "Why didn't you tell me that all Red Wolves were a part of your bloodline?" Sean asked

Finally. She need not pretend any longer. In William’s arms was where she wanted to be. ~The End~ Look for these books in this series: Let's Fall in Love Again (book 2) Let's Create a Wonderland (book 3) Let's be Together (book 4)

I give Zephyr a sincere and enthusiastic smile for his tips and dedication in fetching all these books for me. “I will do as you advised, Mr. Zephyr!” I inform sincerely, pulling up a chair and picking up the red book. “You will do well, Anara Valen. But be careful, be very careful with the vipers that lurk in the grass and corridors. There are malices in darker places. Just as this red book can save you for the next challenge, a woman in a red dress can kill you,” Zephyr declares seriously. I frown at him, startled by his words.
