The crowd erupted into shocked murmurs. Alpha Kael stiffened. When he looked at Lyra, his eyes darkened—not with confusion, but with certainty. With acceptance. He stepped forward. Past me. “Please.” He stepped away from me and uttered the words that shattered my heart in pieces without any hesitation. “I, Alpha Damian of Moon City pack, reject you, Omega.” Then he walked out of my room, leaving me to crumple to the ground in pain. The tears poured even harder, almost blinding me as I crawled to my mattress and dragged the pillow, shoving my face in it to muffle my wails. When I wrapped up crying for the second time in a day, my head throbbed in pain as I sat with my head in my hands. He had rejected me, he had actually done it.

He tried to make her see things differently, he wanted her to take back those words before he would lose it and take her down onto his hard, throbbing length. "Oh my! I am not confused, Alpha! I love you" she pushed her body closer to his body as if trying to prevent him from pulling away and walking away from her which he was not even planning on doing. "You... You are going to regret it if you don't do it with who you love" Alpha Carl replied her. His voice depicted it, he was being consumed by the fire that had consumed her. His resistance was breaking away, fast and quick.

I say knowing never to agree to anything unless you are aware of every detail of what the person needs, they could ask you for one thing but do another in the blink of an eye and you’d already agreed. “There is much I want from you little mate, but due to where we’re headed, you cannot fullfil those desires until we are alone.” He smirked his mind heading straight for the thing it always does, his little friend down below. “I can assure you Mr Alpha, those desires of yours will never be fulfilled.” I tell him with a roll of my eyes before turning back to gaze out of the window, a deep chuckle radiating from his chest due to my comment.

Whisper looked at Alpha Drake puzzled and shook her head, “What do you both need from me Alpha Drake?” He shoved his hands in his pockets, “a rejection, you can reject both of us and be free of the fated and destined bonds Whisper, it is what will make you truly happy.” He gave her a weak smile, “It’s not what I want, but it will make you happier than having to chose either of us, neither of us deserve you, not how I acted in the past and not how he is acting now.” Whisper tilted her head at him, her eyes swirling with admiration and a small smile graced her face, “I see, you are willing to take a rejection for my happiness.”

“Please, don’t. Touching me will only make us feel the sparks. We need to accept that we will never get that anymore, so it’s better we don’t know what we are missing.” He stepped back and nodded his head. “I’m ready when you are…” I told him bravely while my wolf cried in agony. “Tell me this is not a mistake.” I shook my head. “This is not a mistake. Alpha can just kill me. My life has been in misery all my life, I never had a beautiful life and I don’t have a concrete dream but to have a mate that could be with me.
