Amber hisses in my ear. "Let go!" I yell. Riley walks over to us and grabs a handful of Amber's hair and bow it was hear turn to scream. She instinctively let's go of my hair. "Back off before I rip your extensions out." Riley sneers at her before letting her go. "This isn't over." Amber screams. "Touch her again and I'll pull more than your extensions out." Riley threatens and Amber and her boy squad run off. Without a second thought Riley went straight into her car, I quickly got in with her.

The ordinary noise around me felt like a stage with main characters that did not care who was in the background. I tried to rehearse what I would say to Andre if he called. I tried to put the dream down in a drawer and not let it open. I tried to breathe until the panic loosened. But every time a car door opened on the street, I looked up. Riley arrived with a scarf and a face that said she had already decided to be mad on my behalf. She hugged me and did not ask questions right away. She wrapped her arms as a small protection. “Tell me everything,” she said finally.

They were starting to sound scared, which pissed me off even more. “She’s getting scared Jack! We are not even close enough to see where she is! I am worried for her” I boomed, and I saw Gabe jump in fear. I didn’t mean to scare him; poor thing was still jumpy after being taken. I wanted to go comfort him, but I couldn’t help but feel this urgent pull to save Riley. Almost like she was pulling me herself. Then, I heard the scream. Jack and I exchange glances, and we both knew it was Riley’s voice.

When I reach, I see the crowd around Riley, she is crying while some are throwing things at her or making her hair a mess. I want to run inside and shout at them, but I don’t because I just caught sight of her face. There are bruises on it as though someone beat her up. Also, I see some students watching a video from their phones and I hear some moans, I know the voice is Riley's. “ What is happening here?” I say out loud, and immediately there was a deafening silence. Everyone turns to me and I want to stop breathing for a while at the sudden attention I got.

His whip strikes hard on my back and like a wicked bitch, it kicks me off, sending me to my own destruction. I explode, bursting for Daddy. All of me screams his name, my body says words my mouth is too weak to speak. I curl like a baby, fucking myself but giving him my orgasm. I want to shout for help, but nervousness and fear is creeping me out. My body is trembling so as my knees, my palms were creating a million bullets of sweat and again avoided my legs to him. Out of curiosity, he looked down and nearly got his face all red after witnessing what has Mr. Whitlock‘s been doing all the time.

I rushed down the stairs two at a time, nearly tripping over the last step. I was confused, who was shouting that way and why was the person sounding so hurt and in distress? I got to the living room and that was when the scent hit me. Riley…. My Riley… she came, she was here. But why was she crying? She stood just inside the doorway, chest heaving, eyes red and swollen, tears streaking down her face like she’d been crying for a long time. Her hands were shaking, clutching the strap of her bag like it was the only thing holding her upright.

’’ ‘’Scared ass’’ Riley mocked as I tried to hide my burst of fits but failed ‘’Ugh, come on,’’ Kieran rolled his eyes ‘’But how do you get sick from being in a car? Some kind of motion sickness that is quite odd for someone as strong as you. ’’ ‘’Hey, don’t blame me now, hero. ’’ I shook my head at their banter and was relieved that Riley was talking and back to us, but for some reason I still get scared, What if this is all an act What if he still wants to leave

Pain exploded in my jaw, and I gasped as the cold burned my skin. His teeth sank into my calf, and a scream tore from my throat. I thrashed, clawing at the dirt, snow biting into my palms as I kicked blindly behind me. My heel connected with his snout, hard enough to make him let go, and I wasted no time rolling onto my back. "Silas!" I choked out, crawling until my shoulders hit the rough bark of a tree. My hands shook as I gripped the frozen ground, my fingers numb and useless. "It's me—Riley. Please."
