Isabella nodded in understanding, lightly taking Rose’s hand and guiding her forward before stepping aside, leaving Rose alone at the center of the spotlight. The moment Rose and Corbin stepped onto the stage, the hall quieted. Every eye turned toward them. Corbin looked down at Rose with a soft smile, pride clear in his expression. Rose returned it briefly—then lowered her gaze, her fingers fidgeting again.

"We found Ms. Smith's clothes and phone in the soil beneath the black roses… along with a human skeleton!" The entire room was suddenly deathly silent, until John sprang to his feet in shock, "What?!"

Rose looked between all of them. Nothing felt real anymore. “Then tell me everything,” she said. Jason opened his mouth— But before he could speak— The screen went black. All lights shut off again. Darkness swallowed the room. And then— A voice echoed through the speakers. Not Daniel. Not Ethan. Not Jason. Familiar. But distorted. “You weren’t supposed to see that yet.” Rose’s heart slammed against her chest. Because this— This wasn’t over. It was just beginning.

Without wasting another second, Alex grabbed his car key and drove there at once. Soon, he arrived at Moon Club. The second he entered the door. Rose appeared in his sight and took his breath away. There was a dim light on the stage, and she was particularly sparking beneath the spotlight. It looked like she was immersed in her performance, sweeping her eyes across the audience in a charming way.

Rose responded but her voice had a crack to it and it made Mason feel bad for bringing up something that was making Rose sad. “That’s really good. I’m happy that you’ve found love. Anyway, enough about that, tell me about what you’re doing now. Did you fulfill your dream?” Mason asked. Rose sighed in relief as Mason changed the subject. She didn’t want to seem rude but her marriage was the last thing she wanted to talk about. Not without feeling a painful stab to her heart or tears swelling up. “Oh yes! I did.” She responded with a happy tone, “I now own a jewelry company. I really love it and I’ll be having an exhibition show in a few weeks!”
