RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

Grace calls as I take my first step, but she eventually has no option but to follow me because her pleas fell on my deaf ears. I keep walking and walking, my eyes on the man hiding in the back seat. The more I keep going, the more the movements of my fingers keep increasing, and I keep going, driven by a very strong urge, until I find myself running. I have not blinked for that long moment. I have been running toward this damn freaking car because I don’t want to peel my eyes and find my targets gone from my sight.

Rise Of The Golden Wolf

Rise Of The Golden Wolf

The golden glow on my paw, the voice of those mysterious figures and they all said one thing. Head north…they said My heart races with a new found purpose. I felt strength returning to my bones as I stared purposefully into the darkened forest. I made up my mind to move, i took a deep breath, turned north, and began to run.

Alpha Desmond

Alpha Desmond

Nasir was slowing down. We had been running for five days straight. My legs burned as did my shoulders but I refused to stop. I felt Desmond pull hard at the mate bond but I refused to acknowledge it. Refused to let it pull me back. I just kept running. Letting it fuel me to keep going, keeping him and the kids safe was all that mattered. Poor Nasir was not used to cross country running. He did really well and I knew my pace was nowhere near his running speed but the continuous run wore on him.

Such an incredible story! To write with such intricacy with each of characters and then throw in such powerful and complex relationships, the story definitely took a life of its own. Be prepared for tissues, being angry and yelling at some of the characters and even laughing.
Lonna Howard
I love the story's she weaves! I won't spoil it for any readers but if you are like me have plenty of tissues ready towards the end. I loved following the development of the characters here and the ending was perfect!!!!

Claiming the RUNT

Claiming the RUNT

"I’m not the same person I was a month ago." "We'll see at the mines," he said, turning on his heel. "Be ready by five. And try to get some sleep. You’re shivering." I watched him walk away. He was right, of course. My hands were shaking, a mixture of adrenaline and exhaustion. But as I looked at the five men now resting more comfortably, I felt a spark of something I hadn't felt in years: purpose.

Revenge: Rising Beyond the Tempest

Revenge: Rising Beyond the Tempest

Evelyn was still walking free because she had chosen strategy over impulse. Everything was moving according to plan, yet something inside her felt restless, like a storm waiting for the right excuse to break. She picked up speed, letting the physical strain burn away some of the noise. Her lungs expanded, her muscles worked, and for brief moments, the weight on her chest eased. This was why she ran. Not for fitness alone, but for clarity. To remind herself that she was still in control of her body, her choices, her direction. She rounded a bend in the path and slowed instinctively.

Selene: A Journey from Shadow to Light

Selene: A Journey from Shadow to Light

She became adept at setting boundaries, trusting her instincts, and asserting her worth. During track meets, she discovered an almost meditative clarity in running. The rhythmic pounding of her feet on the track mirrored her heartbeats, creating a space where she could reconcile her emotions, plan her responses, and envision the future she wanted. Running became more than exercise—it became therapy, meditation, and a declaration of independence.

Lust Under Lies. she want more

Lust Under Lies. she want more

"Ran. Far away. Changed my name. Started over. Best decision I ever made." "We're trying to do that. But they keep finding us." The woman smiled. "That's because you're running from them instead of running toward something. Big difference." "What do you mean?" "When you run from danger, you're always looking back. Always afraid. But when you run toward a goal, toward a future, you focus forward. Fear loses its power." Nickey thought about that. What was he running toward? Justice? Revenge? Or just survival? "There's someone who might help us," he said. "But I don't know if I can trust her."

Escaping The CEO

Escaping The CEO

Chapter 5 Cleo I love running it clears my head and gets me into focus mode. There are times when you need to figure out if you are running away from something or to something. If I want to avoid conflict and I don't want to hurt anyone; I find excuses to run , if I believe what we have is worth fighting for and that you are worth the fight; leap, fall ,or jump... I will find every possible reason to stay. I am able to exercise self control;given any situation I can way my options and react accordingly. I have never lost self control at work until Angelo happened.

Alpha Ashier's Salvation

Alpha Ashier's Salvation

Ashier's arm throbbed with pain, yet he pushed through, his determination propelling him forward. They ran with a singular purpose, their surroundings becoming a blur as they focused solely on putting distance between themselves and their pursuers. The forest seemed to close in around them, a labyrinth of darkness and uncertainty. Branches scraped against their skin, leaves rustled underfoot, and the ominous sounds of pursuit echoed through the night.
