After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

Clark and Van are currently talking to their neighborhood friends who are also at the birthday party when they suddenly heard a commotion outside Clark's house. Clark, Van and all of the guests went outside to check what was going on. And much to their surprise, they saw the same creepy man at the Waldorf Reunion party. He was grabbing Bianca's arm, as he is dragging him towards his car. "Hey, what are you doing? Let her go!" Van shouted. He almost forgot how to breath because he is dead worried about Bianca. The creepy man might try to hurt her, and he won't be able to bear it.

Scarlett cried, before sniffing her nose. "How scary is it?". Amelia asked because she was tired of playing games with Scarlett. "It's very scary Mama!". Scarlett said in between tears. Amelia nods her head so that Scarlett can continue her statement. "Inside the school premises….. I do see monsters walking with their head on the floor, while their leg is in the air……. I do see some monsters changing into beasts, and they always come after me, while using a knife". The young Scarlett declared.

I slipped into a slumber not long after I fell asleep. My deep sleep was flooded with a nightmare. I was drowning in something thicker than water. It smelled metallic, it couldn't be blood could it. I heard a horrid laughter that made my insides turn and twist. Pain filled my mind as I heard the man's laughter turn into taunting phrases. "No one will want you now." "Filthy Whore" "You're mine" the man's voice gave me goosebumps and made me shiver. He reached toward me submerging my head in the blood. I let out a scream and tried to fight him off. To no avail, I felt my lungs burn as I gasped in the thick blood.

I said pointedly "And it wasn't necessary to get into another scandal" he retorted sharply and raised his phone. "What's this again, Sloane?" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. What other scandal was he talking about? I went into the dinning room where he sat and looked into his phone. I let out a gasp when I saw it's content. It hadn't been up to two hours since I left the mortuary and a long article had already been posted. Apparently, a picture of me with the vampire guy was uploaded and an article which said I was on to my next boyfriend was written right under the picture. I face palmed in distress. This is exactly what I avoided earlier.
