“Kat” POV Samatha It’s a long drive to Katrina’s. We stop for gas, and Jason brings me back a Dr Pepper and Cheetos. I don’t know whether Kyle told him to get it for me, or maybe he remembered from our last trip. I take it happily. No one has really said anything the entire trip. I feel like everyone can hear me snacking on my Cheetos.

He replied, lifting his hand and caressing her with the gentle breeze of the wind. "Th.. that's coincidental," Katrina replied, looking over her shoulder. "I'm sure someone turned on a fan. Listen, I get it, pick on the poor naive girl, let's have some fun with her, but I really ought to be going." She responded, backing away towards the door. "Enough." Roared Samael, blue flames sprouting all over his body. He always was the one with the shortest temper. "Oh my," Katrina whispered before she fainted; luckily, Aphelion was quick enough to catch her in his arms.

“But no concerts?” Luna Katerina smirked. “No, not yet. Sam, his Delta, used to be in a band back in high school. She even traveled a bit after but she came back after a her band mates signed a contract without her. It was a mess. She came home heartbroken and Ethan made her Delta. She hasn’t looked back.” I smiled as I slipped out of my seat and grabbed my plate. “She sounds cool.” “Cool indeed.” Katerina looked around for a moment. “We didn’t put my clothes in the dryer, did we?”

Charlotte links her arm with Samantha’s and drags her to the drinks stand. Samantha has no idea if Aunt Caitlyn will like her or not but she is pretty sure that Alpha Charlotte will always be more than an Alpha for her and Theo!

But the news about Cash and especially Sammy hit me hard. Sammy and I were never as close as she and Kitty were but we were still good friends. I trusted her completely. I had even tried to check in on the her and Cash after the Nightmare. I went to their house and found the bodies of her parents in bed together but she and Cash were no where to be found. I had passed this information along to Kitty who was saddened and worried. She wanted to go look for them but we had no idea where they would go or where to even start looking.

“Fuck… you’re lucky.” Charlotte tilted her head, eyes glinting. “And you? Tell me, Samantha. Who fucks you?” For the first time, Sam hesitated. She busied her hands with warm towels, brushing them along Charlotte’s legs. “No one worth mentioning.” “Don’t be coy.” Charlotte caught her wrist, forcing her to look up. “Tell me.”

I can't believe my own ears, but it's what needs to be said. "But, I love you...Robbie. Please don't do this. Please...I'm sorry it took me so long to say it. Please...I don't care if you slept with her. I can get past that...please don't let me go. Please don't stop looking at me like you always have. I'll do better...I'll..." Sam's hysterical, and I can't calm her down. "I can't give you what you want, Samantha. Maybe I could have, but I can't now. Please let me find happiness with Missy. I let you go to be with Mark. Maybe it's time you let me go to be with Missy," I say.

“You used that excuse before. Give Princess a break and stop using her for your schemes.” “It’s too early to start this argument, Kathie. I just want my coffee and want to get straight into work.” “This is going to be the 9th date you’re canceling with Kelvin.” “Perfect?! Samantha paused for a moment, then reluctantly sat back down. He wasn't late—he'd arrived right on time, down to the second. The meal passed in near silence. Matt wasn't the talkative type to begin with, and Samantha, preoccupied with her thoughts, remained quiet throughout. If she had known her blind date was him, she wouldn't have come. Not under any circumstances. He was from Reystein City. If word got out that she was still alive, chaos would erupt. After all, Connor had already gone so far as to marry a box of ashes. Who knew what else that madman was capable of?

"The stream divides up ahead." Grace looked toward the right-hand trail. “I'll check that side." "I'll go with you." Samuel said. "We'll meet back here in fifteen minutes." Katelyn glanced around. "Keep your radios on." The two disappeared between the trees. For the first time since entering the woodland, only Damon and Katelyn remained. Neither spoke. Katelyn continued along the left-hand path, her flashlight sweeping slowly across the undergrowth. Damon followed several steps behind. The silence stretched. Broken only by rainfall. And the crunch of wet leaves beneath their boots. His radio crackled.
