Sarah said weakly, "you forgot something important about our family." "What?" Katherine asked, spinning around in surprise. Sarah smiled, and for the first time since her betrayal, it looked genuine. "We don't stay dead easily." She lunged at Katherine with a silver blade that seemed to come from nowhere. "The children!" Sarah shouted as she tackled her sister. "Run! Get the children out of here!" "But why are you helping us?" I asked, confused. "Because," Sarah said as she struggled with Katherine, "I may be a liar and a traitor, but I'm not a monster. And Katherine has gone too far.”

SARAH WAS PETITE, tall with blonde hair and dark blue eyes. She was in her mid thirties but still looked twenty-five as a result of her round babyish face. As far as she could remember, she had been writing and she grew up with the dream of covering the most insane, mysterious, mythical and unbelievable stories and reports in her writings. Before the last two years, she had been doing researches on different gods and their mythical stories, coming up with captivating writings in forms of articles and short stories. In the last two years, she realized that there seemed to be gods among humans and wanted to cover a writing about them but she had not really heard anything about them or gathered

There was work that needed to be done. - Sarah's eyes opened. Lifting her head, she saw that she had fallen asleep in the library, the early light of day streaming through the skylight up above. Wiping a string of drool from her chin, she picked up the spellbook she had been studying, casually wiping away the stains she had left in it. Scratching at the newly healed skin of her belly, she walked over to the safe on the wall, curious to see if the deed had been done. The smoke disappeared into the air. The candles and incenses were lit on the table to create a flicker in the breeze blowing through the kitchen. She placed the crystals in the oven. Red for blood, fire, violence, health and danger. Orange for change and yellow for mourning. Black for evil and dark. She began stirring the crystals in the oven with a wooden spoon as she chanted a spell. The oven became so hot the spoon began to catch fire. She reached over to the sink and filled a glass with water. She propelled the glass of water onto the fire. The steam spelled out Slaughter Hill. The spell was completed.

I was brought back to reality from Shawn slamming a book on the table, causing me to slightly jump at the sudden loud noise. " I know what's going on with Sarah" He says looking me straight in the eyes with concern written all over his face. He opens the book turning it in my direction pushing it towards me, so I could see what he wanted me to read. Vampires and mates of other spieces, was the title of the chapter. Was Shawn insinuating that Sarah had found her mate! At that moment my heart shattered more. No! She was supposed to be mine!

I shout excitedly while practically shoving the book in her face. "Wow, a book on warfare? Now tell me, why do you want to learn about warfare?" She asks gently. "Because I want to become a knight so I can protect everyone I care about. Mother said that knights not only have to be strong, but they must be smart too. So, I'm going to learn everything I can," I cheer loudly. "My, isn't that a wonderful dream. Keep up the good work and you might just make it happen," she says with a tender chuckle.
