The night was cold, and I feared they would catch a cold, but they began to cry out loud on the road. People began to stare, so I had gotten them the ice cream. When they got home, I prepared for them a nice warm shower, and dressed them, making them ready for bed. “I'm craving a bedtime story, Mommy.” Nadia said, as I tucked them in. “I'll tell you one tomorrow. I'm exhausted, okay? What do you think about two bedtime stories tomorrow?” I asked, as a bribe. “Oh yeah! I want Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty.”

I darted my eyes away quickly-- "You promised," Al said all of a sudden. "What?" I paused in surprise. "No question asked," Al smirked, holding out his hand to me. I was grateful that he didn't ask into it. Night fell. So the thing about horror stories is that-- The fear kicks in only at dark nights when you are alone, not when you are at the crowded theater or on the bright street. Meaning-- I couldn't fall asleep that night. Turns out it's a bit hard to fall asleep when you don't close your eyes because you feel the need to stare at everything with alert.

My Nightmare Natty's POV It was morning already and last night was a long night. I never knew he was that insatiable.I lot count as to how many times we did it. Thinking about it, I smiled. I looked over to him and smiled more. He was still sleeping like a baby. I tried standing up but I felt pain in my thighs. I tried again but I just groaned. My groaning woke him up,he was baffled and asked. "Baby are you alright..."he asked in a husky voice.

However, it looked as though the Baku was operating separately from his physical body, as it twitched now and then. Braxton remembered a story his mother used to tell him about the Baku. They were mythical creatures who entered your sleep and ate your bad dreams. She always told him that if he woke up during the night from a nightmare, he was to chant "Baku-san come eat my dream" three times, and a Baku would appear to gobble up his nightmares. It scared the shit out of him as a kid, and no matter how bad his dreams got, they were never bad enough to invoke a Baku. As an adult, he'd put his mother's stories in the same category as human fairy tales. To see one up close was terrifying.

Xayne whispered. . . The Hoodie Dude could be seen running in the woods at an extreme speed. He suddenly came to halt and leaned behind a tree breathing uncontrollably. He shut his eyes tightly and there was a flashback. " Hey Kiddo, you're awake ". A Woman said approaching a boy covered in duvet on the bed. It was dark and windy that night when it was about to rain. "I see scary people". His little voice said. "It's called nightmare, now go to bed they can't hurt you, okay?". She said and he nodded.

His parents attended an important dinner function at the Moonstar Hotel by the Bay View Area and they told them that they might come home late. A slight breeze blew from the West. Old folks used to tell in their bedtime stories by the fireplace that this is an ominous sign. They say that vile creatures hunt for their prey during these times. Mark knew all about this since he is an avid fan of mystery-horror stories. Yet he told himself a thousand times that evening these are just figments of his wild imagination. Nothing horrible is going to befall his parents. They are both good souls and God is watching over them from above.

I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

I don't even have his number! "Hello? Who's there?" I whispered. It was like a horror movie. The girl in the forest screaming and running for her dear life. Maybe it is Jordan. He is a douchebag but can he pull such a stunt just to scare me? One thing I learned from the horror movies I watch is never to scream and run so I backed away and tried to be in the shade because the moon was up and bright. I don't want to be spotted or watched by who may or may not be my predator.

"We woke you up, didn't we? Come on, let's go back to bed. Sorry, Logan, but please wait for a moment." She held Maya's hand and walked toward a bedroom. "Alright, Mommy is going to tell you a bedtime story, okay? So you can go to sleep safe and sound and snug. How about the one with the astronaut?" She began. "The astronaut is standing in the space station. Outside the window, he sees the limitless expanse of space. Then, suddenly, hears the sound of someone knocking on the window—" "It's a ghost! A ghost! The ghost is outside the window, right?!"

When her mother was lulling her to sleep that night, she read the expression on her face and interpreted it right-Fear "What are you scared of?" She asked softly "What I'll see on the night before my birthday" she answered with a small voice. "Don't worry, it won't be bad this time, I'll pray for you" and then her mother prayed until she fell asleep.
