Scouts Salute Aot Novels & Stories

I hissed as I cut myself, but the pain was short lived as my healing ability kicked in. Both Thomas and my mother repeated the same action before all three of us said in unison, “We the blessed children of the Mood Goodness, swear to nurture and honor the wellbeing and safety of our packs in a united front. We now ask all pack members to please kneel and bow in agreement to this new formed blood alliance.”

Rex’s POV The hairs on my skin prickled as the scout finished speaking. They were here? Here where? “What are you talking about?” Aries cut in sharply, eyes narrowing. “They are where?” “Forgive me, Alpha,” the scout stammered, anxiety spilling from every word. “I didn’t ask you to beg,” Aries seethed. “Clarify yourself.” The scout swallowed hard, then straightened. “The Blue Crescent pack is on their way here, Alpha. If I’m not wrong, they’ll be on your grounds in about thirty minutes.”

They all looked at eachother, nodding their heads in agreement with what I had said. In a practised motion, they raised their right hands up to the sky in unison, brought it down to their chest and beat it twice, then raised them back up to the sky. It was the Pack's warrior salute. And with that, I knew the hunt was to begin. My expression softened slightly as I gently nodded and returned the salute with full chest. Our hands fell down at the same time, and I led my pack of warriors into the heart of the forest. The sole of our feet padded softly on the damp soil, crunching some leaves as we made our way into the foggy woods.

We went to the pack's restaurant for lunch to lift her spirits, and she made me take hundreds of photos of her, which she would later show off to her friends. I dropped her off at home, and later that evening, I headed to the scouts' initiation parade, which was open to all pack members, to watch the scouts receive their tribal totem. I drove to the pack's stadium with Gray and Zina, where enthusiastic spectators had gathered. The stadium was decked with totems and ancient symbols that symbolized the strength and unity of the pack. Warrior trucks drove at the head of the parade with decorated scouts and flags flying on floats. Numerous high-ranking military officials were present, some of wh

"Then I guess I'm sleeping outside tonight?" "Try it, Ruby." My smile holds as I fasten my scarf and turn away from him. "Don't cause any trouble out there, and do not tarnish my name more than you already do." "Of course, Alpha, scouts honour." My hand raises in a mock salute before I settle in the warm leather seats, and the door slams shut. What a jerk. ***

Then a third time. Every scout posted along the northern ridge stood at once. A young soldier burst into camp, breathing so hard he could barely form the words. "Riders!" Astrid was already on her feet. "How many?" The scout shook his head. "I... I can't tell." His face had gone as white as the snow around them. "They aren't carrying banners." "No torches." "They're just standing there." Cassian reached for the hilt of his sword. "Standing?"

Finally my mate looks to everyone and speaks. “Good afternoon everyone! Now, a long held tradition in our pack is that when a pup comes of age they place their pawprints on this rock. The Unity rock. It symbolizes unity not only to the Moon Goddess but also to the pack. My print symbolizes my oath that I will do all in my power to not only protect the pup but lead them into their place in the pack.”

A scout rushed through the door. "Alpha," he gasped. “Somebody is coming up from the south.” I tensed. "Ferals?" "No," the scout said. "It is a formal delegation. Now they are flying the flag of the Elder Council. They are asking for an appointment much sooner in the Luna situation. They know she is here. And they brought a whole battalion.”

“Observe. Respond. Endure. Awareness threads through heat, scrutiny, and desire. Even under their gaze, you are theirs completely.” The scouts exchanged glances. Hesitation flickered in their eyes. They had arrived with bold intent, but the triad’s overwhelming presence, the visible marks of layered claiming, and the unwavering control left no room for challenge. The taller scout’s smirk faded. He muttered something low to his companion, then both slowly retreated. Their steps were measured and reluctant, the door closing behind them with a heavy thud that left the den thick with silent acknowledgment.

“Tell me, Brooke, does your wolf desire to view the ancient tribal carvings in the grand hall?” The ancestral exhibitions within the Citadel were renowned across all four corners of the wilderness. However, before our strides could clear the archway of the gallery, our path was blocked by a young male carrying a scout's tracking stone. The scout gestured to his crystal, speaking in the old high-dialect of the northern packs. “You two carry a perfectly synchronized aura. May I capture your likenesses for the territory registry?” Fortunately, my winters in the outer wild had taught me the formal dialect. I immediately waved my hands in frantic embarrassment, my cheeks flushing hot. “Your sense
