Scouts Salute Aot Novels & Stories

“Kyla is my lover, and the two are mates. It’s… complicated, but I’d be very thankful.” The scout’s eyebrows shoot up as she hears Dereck. She then considers me and Kyla once more before shaking her head in disbelief and then replies, “then I’ll request enough for everyone. I never thought two leaders like them could be mates, but you were one to befriend the oddest of people all the time, so I’m not surprised.” At last, the scout stops just outside a pair of large doors. She gives it a knock and then, with a loud voice, she says, “the leaders and Dereck are here now.”

He shakes his head somberly, looking again at our dead human, “but if they want to talk to me or my patrols, we’re happy to help. Just let me know.” “Will do. Before you head back to your packhouse, have Tasha and Channing take you to where the scents are the strongest so you can get the smell for yourself.” I say nodding to my two top trackers. “They’d be happy to show your own trackers where the scents are too.” “That’s great, thank you, Alpha.” He turns to Tasha and Channing, “Lead the way!” As the three of them begin walking off, he looks back over his shoulder, “see you in a few hours, Alpha Scarlett. And thanks again.”

Scout Caleb said and Ava's face was instantly drained. What if the scouts find him where she had left him and they manage to take him away from her? No, she cannot allow that to happen. Ava started walking away but Scout Caleb chased after her. "What? Why are you following me? Are you stalking me?" Ava asked. "Of course not. Anyway, if you ever meet Alpha Kane, tell him that the pack is loyal to him. The pack hates Luna Cynthia and Alpha Ian because of their ruthless leadership and he better come to save them. This is what his dad would expect from him," Scout Caleb advised before setting Ava free.

Some kind of gravity urges me to lean into him, but I don’t dare. Eventually, he clears his throat and meets my eyes again. “When we scout, we go in pairs,” he says. “We could do that. We could be scouts together.” I understand what he’s saying. If we’re going to do this—and we have to do this—it can’t be like before. There can’t be a bad guy. So we’ll be in it together. “Okay. How do scouts work?” Some tension leaves his body. “Well, usually, one of us keeps an eye out for threats while the other looks for signs of prey.”

He had worked hard, and now he was trusted by all. Then came the most important part of the day. An ancient scroll was brought forward. Alec, Delilah, Maxwell, Amanok, and all the other leaders stood in a circle. They placed their hands on the scroll and repeated the sacred words: "We swear an eternal oath. To protect all life. To guard peace. To stand together, no matter the storm." A light burst from the scroll and floated into the sky. It was a sign. The gods had accepted the promise.

The scout crumples instantly. Atlas stands over the body, his chest heaving, his muzzle stained red. He lets out a thunderous, vibrating roar through the pack link—an absolute command that physically shakes the morning air. “LIORA!” His massive form turns, becoming a living wall between me and the dark treeline. The mate bond flares like a silver flame. Atlas’s roar acts as a grounding counter-weight to Aria’s panicked cry. He shifts back in a fluid, breathless rush.

The scout who know from Aurelia that the thing in the police hand is a weapon called a gun thought that it was a challenge so he beat up the polices too. The police who got beaten up to a pulp push an emergency signal button and call for reinforcement, then the special police force comes and starts to surround the scout. The fight broke out, the police special force got beaten up and the hunt began as the scout started to feel annoyed and flew up to the sky.

Heavy machinery rumbled back and forth behind a row of volunteers, shaving the earth into level banks for the future bitumen. Aurora inhaled the warm, red-tinged air and let Sam’s aura ripple gently around her just enough to keep both babies soothed, without disturbing the workers. She offered quiet smiles and nods as she passed the first group of pack scouts, their sweat-darkened shirts sticking to their backs but their faces bright with purpose. “Hello, Luna!” one of them called, setting down his grader to bow. Aurora inclined her head. “How goes the prep?”

“But now it’s right overhead.” Rowan exhaled slowly. “The Sovereign presence,” he muttered. Elara shook her head. “No. I refuse to become some legend dragged out of old stone walls.” Rowan met her gaze steadily. “You don’t get to refuse what you are.” Those words landed harder than any blow she’d taken in training. A horn blasted from the western tower. Scout. Urgent. A warrior sprinted toward them. “Alpha! Multiple Alphas approaching under truce markings. Silver Fang among them.”

Zion ignores it and lifts his head to the night sky. “To Selene, mother of all wolves!” He cheers through a mindlink to the pack. “May she bless our pack with strength in difficult times and calm in the respite! And may her love be felt in our hearts evermore! Here, here Emerald Canyon! I am Zion. Guardian of the Gate of Mount Olympus and now Alpha Scion to this noble pack. With your blessings, I vow to lead you fearlessly for as long as the Goddess allows.”
